Royal College of Art Interior design The master's program lasts for two years, teaching in parallel with architectural design, but has its own independent lectures, seminars, group work and personal papers. The study of this major is based on actual projects and completed by 6 architectural design teams. Interaction design


The first year of interaction design at the Royal Academy of Arts focuses on exploring various design methods related to emerging technologies. The first project of each academic year is usually used to discuss the relationship between design and technology. It also provides an opportunity for each student to get to know each other and get familiar with the college environment. The next project will expose students to different design methods related to new technology. Most projects are guided by teachers from the core teaching team, and some guest lecturers with professional skills will also come to the school to teach. In the first year, some short-term workshops will be provided to explain software and model making technology, while students are expected to start their own projects and professional practice in the second year. First, British art students will participate in a four week project, and then they will be assigned to personal tutors to discuss their interests and final works. Photography

Sculpture


At the beginning of the sculpture course, each student will have a personal workshop and be assigned a personal tutor. Students' supervisors and professors will provide one-on-one guidance to students at appropriate time. Large sculptures, models or prototypes can be replaced by photographs.

Working drawings, photos or completed works shall be dated and attached with a brief written explanation.

All submitted works must have the correct title, write the media form, size (for pictures) and duration (for videos), and indicate your name.

You must clearly indicate what role you play in the completion of the work.

If it is found that the collection of overseas art works submitted by the applicant is not his own creation or the applicant overstates his position in the creation process, the applicant will be disqualified from applying.


Special requirements:


1. Animation major of Royal Academy of Arts: works must be able to be played on Mac for no more than 15 minutes, must contain dynamic images, and each work must be attached with a description of less than 100 words. The image size should be more than 400 * 400 pixels, not more than 2M, and the video should not exceed 80M. JPEG, PNG, MOV, MP4, M4V, website and other formats are acceptable, but PDF is not acceptable.


2. Architecture of the Royal Academy of Arts: The collection of architectural design works should contain no more than 6 finished products. Must contain a sketch book. Models or videos are not acceptable.


3. Photography and sculpture of the Royal Academy of Arts: The collection of overseas art works must not contain paintings, and the picture format must be JPG, with a maximum of 10 pieces.

1、 British art study Preparation of works collection: As a design major, works collection will play a crucial and decisive role in the application for studying abroad in British art. Therefore, at the initial stage, it is necessary to understand a large number of examples of the collection of works and the key points that need attention. It will take at least 3-4 months to complete the final version of the collection of overseas art works, in which a large amount of time is spent selecting the most representative themes from a large number of their own works, and organizing them together according to a certain idea to form a complete series.


2. During the written examination, three questions are asked in one hour, and sketches and explanations are required. The first question is to fill in the blanks. "What is your name relative to carbon dioxide relative to climate change?" Fill in first and then explain why it is filled in this way. The second question is the scheme question. If you are a creative director, how can you turn the situation around when an electrical appliance manufacturing related company is going to go bankrupt. There are four options, and three product schemes are provided together, which should be illustrated and explained. The third question is about graduation. So far, what kind of works do you want to present on the big show. Explain in detail after sketching.


3. When applying for animation design at the Royal Academy of Arts, applicants must submit their vivid image works within 15 minutes to show their thinking and guidance ability. You must clearly show your unique role in any cooperation project. The admissions committee wants to see your potential rather than simply edit it.
