The newly built UAL Academy of Decorative Arts is committed to challenging colonial and imperial heritage and promoting social, cultural and institutional change. We imagine the Institute as a dispersed, destructive and developing porous space. Our goal is to establish interdisciplinary cooperation and research driven projects through the partnership between the UAL and other fields. The institute is in the pilot stage and is planned to start in the autumn of 2020.
