Innovation Design Engineering
This two-year postgraduate major with a history of 39 years can obtain the MA degree of Huangyi and the MSc degree of Imperial College at the same time after graduation. The core of the course combines the critical observation design thinking which is the most important in the Huangyi teaching mode, supplemented by the technical experiments, emerging technology exploration and courses provided by Imperial College for students, as well as advanced engineering and enterprise cooperation activities, and brings the preciseness and precision of science, technology and engineering fields into full play with the development inspiration and creativity in design.

Global Innovation Design (GID)
GID professionals are committed to bringing positive social, environmental, economic and cultural changes to complex issues worldwide. The courses in the first semester and the second semester are mainly divided into three parts, which are jointly led by Huangyi and Imperial College. Service Design
Huangyi is a pioneer in setting up the specialty of service design. The purpose of service design is to optimize the service and experience in the way of design practice. Contemporary designers need to face complex social problems in order to provide better public services and meet people-oriented product needs. Similarly, this course is also a cooperation project between Huangyi and Imperial College of Technology. With the help of technical guidance provided by Imperial College MBA and Computer Department, a series of interdisciplinary cooperation between students of different majors has been carried out.
The curriculum planning of service design is divided into three themes: first, to create a new service model for consumers. The focus of the curriculum is to use technology to meet the basic needs of communication, payment, interaction, etc. in complex service industries (such as retail, banking, hotels, etc.).
The second refers to the development of public services and policy innovation on the themes of transportation, health and education.
The third is conceptual design. Students can use critical thinking to predict what kind of services and user experience human development needs under the impetus of technology, environment and crisis.
The whole curriculum plan is two-year, and is divided into 6 modules. In each module, students will complete their projects with many partners in industries and professional fields to develop innovative solutions to redesign the world around them.
