Topic selection of interaction design portfolio: anger of the community. "Community anger" is a profound social phenomenon, which originates from the strong reaction of community members to the problems of injustice, injustice, environmental pollution, and unequal distribution of community resources. Next, teacher Caixiang will share a detailed project with you. Let's learn how to quote and solve it in real cases! Project Portland aims to enable residents to contribute their different views and ideas to improve the application of public space.
Information architecture
The tab bar organizes the application into three parts: Home page, maps, and profile.

Interactive design portfolio training: how to understand the core principles of applied interactive design?
The Home tab displays upcoming community events, announcements, and personalized content, such as recently visited locations, challenges, and leaderboards. Players start from the Maps tab after opening the application. As a result, they can easily identify nearby challenges and rewards. The Profile tab is divided into four parts: badges, libraries, authoring, and statistics.
Gamification
AR challenges need to be a key driver of product use, retention, and growth. Too many interrelated elements in the initial design scheme made the challenge too complex, so a game based seminar was held, mainly including three aspects:
Gamification power: it is the ideological construction of game playing methods. The two key drivers of use are narrative and relationship.
Gamification mechanism: challenges, goals, rewards, rules, competition and randomness, attracting players and encouraging them to move forward.
Gamification elements: Gamification elements are created from dynamics and mechanisms, with which players can interact.

Community feedback
In order to achieve results, the project needs to become an inclusive platform, cultivate community spirit and enhance the participation ability of different groups of people. Therefore, it was decided to deliberately exclude open forums and public comments from applications to eliminate potential hazards. This application is an important channel for communication between residents and Portland. Since public comments are excluded, this application needs a new method to obtain feedback from the community. As a result, the question card has become a key function. The question card asks multiple choice questions or open-ended questions to collect quantitative and qualitative feedback.
Inclusive Design
The principle of inclusive design for project implementation is crucial, and all residents should have equal opportunities to contribute their ideas and solutions. Failure to include all community groups will result in the design of public space unable to meet the diverse needs of the community.
Color accessibility
● Don't rely on color to convey key information.
● Add sufficient contrast between foreground and background UI elements.
These solutions are not enough to combat the unpredictability of ARs. To overcome this problem, each object has an "AR color adjustment" setting, allowing players to change the color of virtual objects and the physical world on the screen for creation
Is the interaction designer's portfolio composed of physical interaction or spatial interaction?
