This is one of the series of works "Gravity and Grace" by the artist Dajuan Shiji, who intends to explore the question of "what does existence mean?".

Collection of Installation Art: Space, Time, Gravity and Memory

Dajuan's artistic practice deeply explored the keywords of space, time, gravity and memory, and created a physical experience of time and space through a variety of materials and technical means to approach and explore those vague and elusive concepts of "existence".

In his works, Space It is not only a physical place, but also a psychological and emotional field. He guided the audience into a multi-dimensional space experience through the three-dimensional structure and light and shadow effects of installation art. This kind of space not only contains the physical length, width and height, but also integrates the flow of time and the level of personal memory, so that the audience can feel their own existence and resonate with the works.

Time: Plays a central role in his works. He not only pays attention to the linear passage of time, but also pays more attention to the cyclical and nonlinear characteristics of time. Through the dynamic elements of the work, such as the change of light and shadow, the movement of devices, Dajuan Shiji creates a visual expression of time, so that the audience can feel the passage of time and the level of history.

Gravity: As one of the basic forces of nature, his works are endowed with symbolic meanings. It is not only a physical attraction, but also a psychological burden and cultural pressure. Through the form and material of his works, he explored how gravity affects our cognition and feeling of existence.

Memory: It is another important theme in the work. He used the interactivity of installation art and audience participation to stimulate the audience's personal memory and collective memory. These memories are recombined and reconstructed in the works, forming a new historical narrative in which the audience can find their own position and identity.

Through the interweaving use of these keywords, Dajuan's works of art are not only visual enjoyment, but also a profound philosophical thinking and spiritual experience. His works challenge our perception of the real world and guide us to think about those seemingly abstract themes that are closely related to us, such as existence, memory, time and space. Through such artistic practice, the author not only provides us with a new way to see and understand the world, but also provides us with a way to explore self and existence.
