The teaching form of natural light and line teaching has always been our specialty and advantage. Every year, among our outstanding students, there is no shortage of "cloud students" in the whole process of online teaching. The dedicated and conscientious teachers of natural light make the form of art teaching span the distance in time and space, especially the online review and portfolio teaching of overseas alliances, so that every "long-distance love" between us and students can be Happy Ending. Yanjun, the student we are going to interview today, is also a person who has successfully completed the production of art collections and won the offers from many top art schools, including Huangyi, through training and teaching on the art collection line.
The whole training process of trainees' art works on the assembly line:
Eight month one-on-one nanny tutor course, eight hour jet lag, efficient communication across half the globe. 4 sets Industrial Design Study Abroad Collection of works, live a life and accurately snipe users' psychology. Yanjun rationally faces the teaching process with perseverance. Sensibility uses empathy and empathy to face design users, and it is this coexistence and blending of sensibility and rationality that makes her indomitable on the road of art.
Yanjun, a junior majoring in industrial design at the University of Liverpool, conducted training in natural light for graduate students to apply for portfolios. So far away in the UK, she chose the mode of training and teaching on the whole art works collection line. We also tried our best to help Yanjun's students with their time and work collection needs, so that she excellently completed the production of four sets of postgraduate application work collections while studying at the undergraduate level.
Yanjun classmate: I come from Wuyishan, Fujian Province. Now I am a junior in industrial design at Liverpool University. I have no special experience. I live a very ordinary life.
Like most people, I studied hard in high school, put more and more pressure on myself with my vision for the future, and tasted the disappointment and anxiety of hope failure in the days of growing up. Only then did I gradually realize how ordinary and insignificant I was, and then I would be stimulated by some factor one day at a time, Continue to the next desired place. In terms of uniqueness, my only special experience is to keep a diary. I have been used to recording my life and feelings since junior high school.
Such experience makes me have a more emotional heart and become more sympathetic to understand people's feelings. Sensitive personality is my greatest advantage. This enables me to better understand their feelings and their needs when making my own works. In my opinion, the product is not only a functional solution to the physical needs of users, but also should focus on the emotional needs of users.
Teacher of Natural Light: In fact, Yanjun thinks that her ordinary is her most rare shining point. Art can not be created only through ups and downs and spectacular experiences. The ordinary life happened to give her practical skills, especially the habit of writing diary, which strengthened her capture and observation of every detail in life. These are crucial advantages in product design.
According to the personality characteristics of Yanjun, we also carried out targeted guidance on the creativity of the collection of works to help her find the creative concept that she really likes, suits her own style, and can make people shine.
So when we see the works of Yanjun, most of them start from the details of life. Although there is no great macro concept, they can really meet the needs of users, which makes people feel bright.

On line training of Yanjun's art works
In line class, "zero time difference" is achieved
Yanjun classmate: At first, I had to choose online classes. When I went to school abroad, I could only choose online classes. Later, after returning home, I tried several offline courses and felt that there was no difference. Because all the works needed to be done by myself, the teacher just pointed out my shortcomings and helped me analyze and discuss my ideas. All these could be done online. Online classes can also save the time to travel to the organization by car, allowing me to arrange my schedule more flexibly.
I didn't encounter any major problems in online classes. At the beginning, I was afraid of not communicating well with the teacher, and didn't understand what the teacher asked me to achieve. But in fact, it can be solved as long as I ask more questions. My teacher is afraid that I don't understand and send me a lot of reference content, so in fact, the problem of communication barriers does not exist, which does not affect my work.
Teacher of Natural Light: As Yanjun said, the only disadvantage of online classes compared with offline classes may be the "unaccustomed" barrier in the minds of students. The free and flexible class time, as well as the saved travel time, let every student who tried to pass the online class call "Zhenxiang" directly.
In fact, almost all the top art schools abroad use the combination of online and offline teaching methods. The dependence of foreign education systems on the Internet is also much higher than that of domestic education systems. Under such a general trend, the de differentiation of education models offline and online must be an inevitable trend.
What's more, now all the cases of online students of Natural Light have confirmed that we have really achieved "zero difference" between online and offline by relying on a strong teaching team, rich online and offline teaching experience and conscientious and responsible childlike heart.

One to one nanny level project course, "the tacit understanding with the tutor has made my work collection endless."
Yanjun classmate: For me, my three projects were all led by Mr. Goose. As time goes on, we will become very tacit and get used to the way the teacher teaches, assigns and corrects homework. In this way, compared with offline classes, the efficiency of online classes is very high, and we are always in touch and ask questions.
I remember that when I arrived at the third project, a few times of communication made my collection efficiency reach the peak. The average online communication time between me and my teacher does not exceed 10 minutes. Within 10 minutes, the teacher quickly told me where and how to change the things I had done before; Then we quickly discuss what to do next. Then, in the process of doing it, do it step by step and show it to the teacher. In this way, the efficiency is particularly high, and the quality is not affected.
At the beginning, my typesetting and modeling abilities were not very good. My teacher provided me with a lot of typesetting reference books, and Composition design of works They will help me to revise them, so I will keep improving from such exercises. Modeling is also. I spent a long time on the model of the first project. Every time I built a version, I showed it to the teacher, and the teacher kept giving me suggestions for reference.
Natural light teacher: According to Yanjun's personal characteristics, Goose teacher timely and actively adopts the most suitable communication mode for her. Despite the time difference across most of the world, the teacher and Yanjun still showed a high degree of mutual integration and tacit understanding.
At the beginning of the course, Mr. Big Goose carried out intensive and targeted training on Yanjun's short board project - typesetting and modeling. Help her improve and consolidate her ability in typesetting exercises. While achieving results quickly, it also fostered mutual trust and tacit understanding between Yanjun and him. It has laid a good foundation for the efficient and perfect completion of later works.

The four portfolio projects have both macro philosophy and micro thinking
Yanjun: I have completed four works in eight months, three of which are based on my own experience in life. The first item is about self-service hair dyeing. When studying abroad, many friends choose to dye their own hair for economic reasons, but it is often a troublesome thing to dye their own hair. The amount of dye paste, the order and steps of hair dyeing, and the messy bathroom after dyeing hair are all headache. So I designed a handheld hair dye that can dye your hair on your own.
Similarly, the second project is also problem-solving. It is a training instrument designed to ensure the health and safety of children who practice basic dance skills. The third project is about tactile design, which aims to arouse people's memory of a city through visual and tactile patterns and patterns.
The fourth project is about piano practice for advanced players. I designed a portable piano keyboard projector and a set of rings. Users can use them with VR technology. When playing the piano, there will be visual color and graphic effects to interact with the music played. At the same time, feedback on performance effects will be given to users to stimulate their feelings when playing the piano.
Natural light teacher: Yanjun's collection of works truly reflects the macro dialectical design thinking of focusing on the big and writing on the small. She is very good at observing and discovering every bit of life. What's more, these life experiences can become the inspiration soil for her creation.
In the communication with Yanjun, the teacher found that she had a delicate and sympathetic "interesting soul". In view of Yanjun's characteristics, she is also guided to select more detailed concepts in the topic selection of her portfolio, and also focuses more on emotional user experience, rather than limited to the physical experience of traditional product design.
Tactile Design -- A Bridge between Emotion and Tactile Synaesthesia
Yanjun classmate: My favorite project is the third one. Touch design is something I have never been exposed to. It is particularly fresh and interesting. When doing this project, I selected 10 representative Chinese cities, obtained relevant elements from photos, and learned their impressions of these cities from friends.
The process of integrating this information is very interesting. At the moment when the results came out and resonated with my friends, I really felt very happy, and I felt the charm of the regional differences in the motherland.
Say to you who choose the line to "challenge" in class:
Yanjun: I think the most important thing about online courses is to actively cooperate and interact with teachers, so that teachers can better understand your strengths and weaknesses and help you improve. Then insist on completing the homework every week and refuse procrastination.
In the natural light class, the courses are at the nanny level. The courses in the university are very basic and are geared to all types of students. But in class with natural light, the teacher will make a teaching plan according to your situation to help you overcome your shortcomings and take you step by step.
Natural light teacher: Procrastination is a big taboo in art design, whether it is online or offline. For students who choose online teaching, our advice is the same as Yanjun's, and we hope that students can actively keep communicating with teachers in a timely manner.
Our teachers will also try their best to help and cooperate with the students' learning progress. From the first class in natural light, the teacher will customize the tutorial course for each student's characteristics and shortcomings. Our goal is not only to cultivate students' commonness, but also to develop students' personal characteristics on the basis of commonness, and choose the theme of works collection that is most suitable for students to study.
Yanjun is a particularly typical model of successful online teaching. Like all the students who are now facing the choice, she has hesitated and hesitated, and also expressed doubts about the online teaching method. However, in the end, all these hesitations were defeated by our tutor's professional attitude and the cooperation of the students themselves. Yanjun also gained the olive branch of the ideal university.
The advantages that we repeatedly emphasized to the students in the training of art works on assembly line are not just on paper, but a real inevitable phenomenon that can be reflected in every student's case. The advantages of online class time and space, as well as the convenience of communication with teachers, can enable students to operate efficiently in the production and learning process of portfolio courses, and play the role of getting twice the result with half the effort. In particular, our recently launched ONE school series of overseas online classes have integrated the high-quality resources of many of our overseas master tutors, bringing students a "rich to flowing" audio-visual feast!
The road of art learning is not like love, nor is there no good result in "different places". Our teachers also hope that students will not be influenced by external factors to give up or shelve their way to school because of such hasty reasons as "maladjustment". Time waits for no one, so does opportunity. Now we are trying our best to create an environment, which is also to enable students to have a "zero difference" experience in online classes at home and even more than offline lessons, so as to minimize the impact of external factors on students' art study abroad.
