During the epidemic, changes in the working environment will inevitably bring about changes in the working state, especially in the case of being unable to contact with the outside world, people who want to stay at home will also be afraid of "staying at home".


Although working at home seems comfortable, in fact, people's nerves are still in a highly concentrated state, because if you don't concentrate, your attention will be distracted by various things, so the working state during the epidemic seems to be more focused than usual. Inspiration may come from a strong constraint on yourself. I don't want to slack off just because I work at home.


   Q: Have you made any preparation and adjustment during this period?


The preparation and adjustment are basically aimed at the teaching methods. Although online classes are also carried out at ordinary times, online classes have become the only teaching method during the epidemic. How to expand the benefits of the courses is what our teachers must think about.


In addition, at the beginning of the epidemic, our teachers in the art department received the online teaching guidance plan from the teaching and research center. Together, we sorted out the information of students and the direction of teaching, and timely adjusted the curriculum. So neither the students nor we were particularly flustered.


From my own curriculum arrangement, I will try many auxiliary methods and even application tools that can be used in practical courses, hoping to further improve the quality of students' classes and prevent online from becoming a barrier.


   Q: Is there any change in the students around?


The students did not have any special changes in general. However, some students were isolated after returning home, lacking creative materials and tools, even computers, and express delivery could not reach, which caused some difficulties for project homework feedback.


In this case, in order not to waste time, as a teacher, I will discuss with students about the preliminary idea and research work of starting a new project, and try to make thorough preparations for the follow-up work.


Some students will raise questions about whether the epidemic will affect the application for school. As a teacher, we need to help students to help analyze and calm down according to the actual situation. In many cases, we can't make 100% predictions, so the best way to deal with it is to do a good job of what we are doing. Other worries do not necessarily happen. It is important to understand each other.

This critical moment plays a very important role in the training of the mind. Instead of worrying about it, we should put it down and concentrate on what we are doing.


Students who stay at home for a long time will feel slack and work less efficiently. Therefore, it is very important to clarify their tasks and pursuits to ensure that nothing can be achieved during the epidemic, and the project progress also needs to be actively promoted.

The unexpected gain is probably the experience of the impermanence of the world, and I will treasure more people, things and moments that are worth cherishing in the future.

In fact, the current working status is not much different from that of working in the company at ordinary times. The students' courses are also ongoing. Sometimes, the working status during this period is even busier than that of clocking in at the company. In extraordinary times, the impact of many objective reasons cannot be avoided, but everyone can understand it.


   Q: Have you made any preparation and adjustment during this period?


I am Jewelry design study abroad The teachers of the department cannot complete many project production steps at home due to the limitations of practical majors in teaching, so during the epidemic, students should try their best to use materials or resources accessible at home to spread their thinking and try more.


The production process, material experiment and design drawing development of the portfolio should be as rich as possible, and the finished product production can be started directly when the offline classes resume in the coming day to accelerate the production of the portfolio project.


In terms of life, the work and rest time has become very regular. Compared with the busy application season a few days ago, it is like living a retired life. Finally, I found some ways to exercise my muscles at home.


   Q: Is there any change in the students around?


The first class that some students met from the beginning was offline teaching, and there was basically no remote online teaching opportunity. Maybe some students would be shy and not dare to express themselves when meeting live people, but when online classes were like chatting with online friends, they suddenly became very willing to express their opinions and ideas.


Through the teaching during this period, I feel that the source of students' anxiety is "time", because everyone does not know when the epidemic will pass, and the jewelry specialty has limited remote operation.


So for the teaching during the epidemic, I worked with the teachers in the teaching and research center to draw up a monthly learning plan for each student during the epidemic, which was specific to the steps, time and expected results of each project, so as to ease the anxiety of students and parents.


   Q: Do you have any ideas to share with you?


For our jewelry major, many students may have heavy schoolwork and a lot of work on hand on weekdays, so they have no chance to get to know artists at home and abroad, and the research on reading and inspiration of works is always insufficient. I think now is the best time to enrich the "family".


   Q: Are there any "unexpected gains" during this period?


Yes, because I am a small Chinese leader myself, but I usually act low-key, so this matter is not widely known. The time I stayed at home during the epidemic let me play my cooking skills to the fullest, and also showed my shiny dishes to prove my identity as a small Chinese leader.

Most want to catch up with the students! Also, I would like to invite the students who have just received the offer to taste the delicious dishes of the little leader and celebrate.

   Q: Under the influence of the epidemic, what is the working state of this period?


It's very busy. In addition to the normal course scheduling, we need to keep communication with students and answer questions anytime and anywhere. Basically, when we open our eyes and close our eyes, we are surrounded by work.


In the middle of the time, I took time to eat and take care of my cat, including weekends, and kept my computer, iPad and mobile phone on hand at any time. I felt more busy than before. It has solved some of the problems that had been overstocked before, and even has a closer relationship with students.


   Q: Have you made any preparation and adjustment during this period?


During the Spring Festival holiday, we received a call from the Teaching and Research Center to reorganize the students' information and adjust the teaching plan for a period of time according to their needs.


During this period, I reorganized the information in the computer and made adjustments for online classes. Because I could not draw pictures or point out problems in person, I used iPad to display more (yes, this is also the equipment I bought specifically for "anchor teaching" this time).


Before class, we also need to do more preparation, collect relevant case pictures, write lesson plans, assign homework, and answer students' doubts.


In terms of life, as the epidemic situation has reduced, we have to go to the supermarket every week for a big purchase, and the living standard has plummeted.


   Q: Is there any change in the students around?


At the current epidemic situation, some students may be sensitive and anxious, and some students may start to slack off when they feel that the teacher is not around. In view of these possible changes in mental state, they can only keep communication at any time, comfort in time, and supervise more frequently.


For example, a lot of my work recently is to collect money for homework in the group and ask students to report their progress every day. If necessary, please ask parents to help supervise;


For some problems involving the modification of the design scheme, you can use various methods such as Ipad demonstration and screen sharing to draw and mark, so as to help students quickly understand the key points.


   Q: Do you have any ideas to share with you?


Many students have not started school now, and their schoolwork is not very heavy, so this is also a good time for intensive training. Students can collect more cases, read books and documents, and take this opportunity to accumulate more, so that they can have enough materials for future design.


Objectively speaking, at present, our online teaching method is relatively mature and can solve most problems, but it will have a certain impact if we cannot direct the details in person in the middle and later stages of the construction specialty;


Therefore, we also need to adjust the teaching strategy in time, postpone some parts that cannot be implemented at present, and talk more about skills and knowledge points that can be conveyed through screen sharing, including the selection of project types, so as to lay a solid road in the early stage and save energy for subsequent work.

The unexpected result is that more life skills have been acquired, and even the kittens at home have become very clingy~

In good condition, even busier than before. In fact, I had experience in online classes before, but this time it was all adjusted to online classes. In order to ensure each student's sense of learning experience, I added a lot of interactive links in the process, so I prepared more things before each class, and communicated and fed back more with students later.


   Q: Have you made any preparation and adjustment during this period?


I think online classes are not just for the purpose of imparting knowledge, especially Studying abroad in industrial design It is even more necessary to cultivate students' self-learning ability, guide them to think actively and try bravely. The form of online class is to strengthen this training mode invisibly;


Recently, we are designing a new teaching model for the semantics of industrial design modeling. We also hope to inspire students' creativity from different dimensions and enrich the content of students' works.


In terms of life, there is less takeout and more cooking.


   Q: Is there any change in the students around?


According to the past years, school has already started. We are the first group to start online classes. At present, students have gradually adapted to this online teaching mode, and can also maintain good work and study conditions at home.


Personally, I am also trying different teaching methods, trying to combine various tools in class to achieve better teaching results.

I want to tell the students that if there is food and drink at home, we should think of ways to improve our efficiency at home! Does everything pile up to the second half of the year?!

Quite a lot. I found that I could stay at home for so long, and I also learned cooking skills by accident.

It's quite normal. I sit in front of the computer during work hours, and answer students' questions with my mobile phone after work. Because some overseas students have jet lag, but now the class time is more free. Generally speaking, everything is normal!

The major teaching direction and goal have not changed, but the form of this year's application has been improved and supplemented around the professional direction, and some requirements for our teachers have been raised.


But the main reason is that at the beginning, we also gave reassurance to the teaching and research center. We combed the information of students and the direction of teaching with our teachers, so even if we suddenly switched to online teaching, many teachers can immediately become anchors~(hahaha)


   Q: Is there any change in the students around?


At present, the collection of student works I applied for last year has been completed, and most of them have also received the expected offers. But now, because of the failure of the language test, some students are very anxious and anxious. I mainly communicate with them and help them to inquire about the latest news.


Most of the students who applied this year or later are taking basic courses. Online teaching has no impact at this stage, and many graphic design courses require computers, so they have no problems.

As long as the mind does not decline, there are more ways than difficulties! Don't relax, and don't underestimate the power of online classes! The teacher's little eyes are always paying attention to you!

The students' situation is basically stable, and online teaching is also very adaptable, which can be basically achieved through remote tutoring.

In fact, online learning will not be much different from the previous ones. It is better to plan and complete the homework.
