The home page of the official website of the London University of the Arts UAL has been revised, and the home page of the new version of the official website of the UAL London Academy of the Arts has a striking Slogan sentence, which is proposed by the president Grayson Perry to position ethics as "the world's largest trouble making factory", pointing out the teaching characteristics and goals of ethics in a word. As the most comprehensive and influential art school in the world, Lunyi's inclusiveness and creativity also attract students from all over the world. The school advocates diversity and makes every effort to create equal and diverse learning opportunities for students, and strives to cultivate creators and innovators who lead the future industry.
Great action in the academic field of the London Academy of Arts UAL
01. MA Internet Equality
London University of the Arts CCI The Creative Computing Institute opened its first independent major in May this year, called MA Internet Equality/Internet Equality.

This new interdisciplinary major will officially enroll students in October this year. It will lead students to explore how to organize, embed and continue human rights relations in Internet technology, and redefine equality through criticism, innovation and the practice of activists.
CCI believes that more and more Internet based products, services and platforms have become the focus of social issues such as racism, gender oppression and economic exclusion. With the development of the art industry, we should also have greater social responsibility. Colleges and universities will train technical professionals who are critical and creative of human rights, inclusiveness and moral design, and contribute strength from the art field to promote social equality and non discrimination.

The college also clearly stated that the core of the course is to oppose all social systems based on race, class, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, belief and ability. Provide students from different academic backgrounds and experiences with technical skills to understand and implement technology development to achieve equality.
02. Teaching Excellence Cooperation Award (CATE)
UAL relies on the teaching strength and style of the seven major colleges, as well as the achievements and recognition of graduates in the industry. This year, it won the 2020 Teaching Excellence Cooperation Award (CATE) awarded by the British government, which is a prestigious national honor. Its purpose is to commend those institutions of higher learning that have achieved outstanding teaching results through collaboration and innovation.
The Teaching Excellence Cooperation Award CATE emphasized the auxiliary and advantages of the project based teaching method of the UAL for the study of art majors, especially the equality, diversity and interdisciplinary influence of the UAL in curriculum design, teaching achievements and training methods.

At the same time, the National Teaching Scholarship Program (NTF) provides a separate scholarship for current students in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements or innovative achievements in the teaching program.
UAL also made a commitment that this year's requirements for "teaching equality" and "project practice" are higher than ever before, and will continue to promote transformational management in art and culture teaching, bringing long-term and effective support to students.
03. In depth cooperation in the form of UAL × IBM online education
The graduation exhibition just finished by UAL was launched online for the first time. A total of 7000 works of graduates from different disciplines including art, design, fashion, media and performance were exhibited in 7 colleges.
Considering the huge number of works and network restrictions in different regions, at first, both colleges and the public thought that this was almost impossible. However, after that, UAL cooperated with IBM, a well-known technology company, and successfully accomplished this task by building a cloud display platform.
This innovative platform relies on the IBM public cloud, which truly enables the public in different regions to explore and appreciate different forms of student work on the same platform, and fully presents the original breadth and depth of the work.

This successful experience is also the first cooperation between the UAL and IBM. And the UAL also said that it would continue to cooperate with IBM in different forms, and use IBM's advantages in technology and business to help students in teaching and practice. Grayson Perry, the principal of the UAL, said, "Be ready to expect unexpected things!"
