Architecture
MArch: Founded in 2000, this major lasts for three years. It is designed for students with four years of undergraduate study in any major. At present, Design Intelligence ranks this major as the eighth in the Northeast of the United States. MSArch: This major lasts three semesters. It is designed for the five-year certified bachelor of architecture applicants and is certified by NAAB. Students of this major are encouraged to choose majors and special fields to study. The graduate courses of architecture have strong teachers, famous educators, architects, superior facilities and interdisciplinary connections with other departments of Pratt. Famous visiting scholars will regularly present their research work to students.
urban design
Pratt Urban Design is a three semester program designed for applicants with a five-year bachelor's degree in architecture. The course is highly intensive, focusing on the comprehensive practice of concepts, theories and urban design. Urban design is an emerging field of gradual development. The expansion and contraction of cities, the complex system of economic exchanges and strong environmental changes all call for the emergence of new situations of innovative environmental analysis and information sensitive design. The new synthesis strategy for production related to urban and industrial ecology will be explained in detail in the course. This major enables students to carry out thoughtful and innovative work in various forms of urban design. New computer graphics and visualization technologies, theoretical debates, historical precedents and interdisciplinary methods will be used.
Communication design
This major ranks 12th among more than 200 similar majors nationwide (reported by U.S. News&WorldReport). The faculty of this major is strong and has won many awards, including professional designers, writers and media experts. Pratt's students come from more than 28 countries. They receive art education here to prepare for future career development. Students of this major have the opportunity to exchange studies in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany and the Netherlands.
Art and Design Education
This major receives students studying art, design and architecture, and is committed to becoming a dynamic and interdisciplinary major. In the learning process of this major, a series of educational activities will enable students to develop the habit of innovative thinking and deepen their understanding of art. Students will also participate in a series of practical activities and have the opportunity to have teaching experience in studios, education, art history and other disciplines.

This major provides students with broad and dynamic studio practice opportunities, focusing on students' personal development and understanding of important issues that converge into contemporary art. Each student will participate in intensive studio learning to enhance their own skills and increase their knowledge about history, society and critical comments. There are also seminars, group discussions and peer assistance.

Interior design
Located in New York, the city of interior design, Pratt has given students unlimited career development potential. Interior Design of Pratt Art College Postgraduate major was accepted by U S. News and WorldReport ranked first in the country. The interior design major of Preet College of Arts pays attention to space design, and all elements of space and their impact on human spirit will be taught. The students majoring in interior design at Preet College of Art come from all over the world and have various backgrounds. They know the value of innovation. They come to Pratt to study hard and enter a field that needs innovation, and enter a field that can bring changes to the real world. At the same time, students will have many internship opportunities during their study.
industrial design
The graduate major in industrial design of Pratt&Whitney College of Arts was awarded by U S. News&WorldReport and Design Intelligence continue to judge the top ten in the United States. This major accepts applicants who have obtained various bachelor's degrees, because we have a variety of student groups. This rich background collides with tradition, allowing students to think more creatively and critically, and be better prepared to be future leaders. The teachers of this major are experts specializing in furniture, lighting, architecture, exhibition, products, images, cars, medical appliances, packaging, graphic design and other fields, so that students can learn industrial design in any field of interest.

Sculpture
Sculpture majors encourage 3D and 4D experiments and interdisciplinary exploration and thinking. There are many different methods to draw traditional and cutting-edge concepts, covering a full range of technologies. Teachers generously invest in New York's unique intergenerational and intercultural dialogue. All active artists, writers and critics bring preciseness and respect, and adopt their own practices in craftsmanship. In addition, visiting artists, curators, critics and art professionals provided a variety of public lectures. In particular, the studio experience in the graduate stage is characterized by strong peer exchange and dialogue. Pratt's sculpture facilities include a professional metal casting shop, with planking, plastic/resin area, ceramics, and mold making studios. Sculpture students have the opportunity to draw and paint in print and jewelry making courses and facilities.
Design management
The mission of the Design Management (DM) graduate program is based on Pratt's international reputation for cultivating creative leaders. DM improves Pratt's mission through our mission of providing educational experience, helping to shape strategic leaders in the 21st century, bridging the disciplines of design and business, and promoting innovation. The goal of our project is to develop leaders who can cooperate with each other to build sustainable strategic advantages.
Digital Art
Research in this field uses digital and traditional processes to create large format digital prints, installations, art books and other tactile media. Research and solve the key problems and technologies of development, printing and demonstration based on digital art. Recommended elective courses include photography history, etching, screen printing lithography, 3-D printing and digital photography.
Art and culture management
The mission of the graduate program of Culture and Arts Management (ACM) is to develop the international reputation of Pratt for cultivating creative leaders. Our professional mission is to train leaders to use their creativity strategically, foster creative expression, build creative communities, and shape a world that meets more and more challenges. The plan aims to bridge the three Cs: culture, community and business, and emphasizes the importance of cultivating innovative capital. Participants actively study how to use artistic creation to develop and maintain a prosperous culture and create prosperity together. Usually those who are interested in art and culture are those who have not received corresponding theoretical education. This major is designed for such people. Participants should explore new media and methods that are changing the way we communicate, and understand the changing roles of cultural leaders. In experiential learning, the goal of this major is to create a team based collaborative learning community. Students can learn strategy formulation and implementation, finance, marketing and law, innovation and decision-making, operation planning, cultural planning, human resource management and negotiation skills here.
Media Studies
Media research classes are small in size, and most of them are taught in seminars and workshops. The emergence of media is the result of rapid social transformation. The purpose of this major is to cultivate many important social, political, economic and cultural researchers, and to record the cutting-edge theory in the form of media history and its impact on national economy, politics, gender, race, aesthetic forms, etc. This course emphasizes the study of various forms of media, including film, video, television, radio, writing and computers. Our diverse teachers guide students to learn logic and media, and discuss cultural technology of expression with them. They do discourse analysis, interpret semiotics, and enable students to acquire knowledge of media history, communication theory and media practice.
