   Collection requirements


Art and design education, graphic design (graphic design/illustration/advertising art guidance), pure art (painting/oil painting/printmaking/sculpture/jewelry design/ceramics), digital art (2D animation/3D animation/interactive art), clothing design, art and design history, industrial design, indoor design and other majors


The portfolio should include 12-20 of your best works, which should be composed of different media and creative methods. It can include projects with assigned tasks, works of free creation or works of cooperation. The collection of works does not need to focus on a certain specialty, but can also use any form of works, including paintings, oil paintings, sketches, ceramics, etc. In addition, students must submit 3-5 observation paintings. Observation cases can include landscapes, still life sketches, self portraits, portraits, and indoor spaces.

   Collection requirements


   Industrial Design


Applicants of this major need to submit a collection of works through SlideRoom, including text (description, problem statement, etc.) and images (from draft to finished works). The collection of works needs to include examples of painting as a communication tool, three-dimensional objects, and basic understanding of graphic design, which are presented through demonstration and layout. Show the process and implementation of a project, preferably including problem solving and research methods. Please attach any examples that can show you are a creative person. This course is highly integrated with students from different backgrounds, so in the writing instructions, you can discuss the contribution your personal role and background can bring, and how to benefit from a diversified learning environment. TOEFL requires 90 points.


   Interior Design


Undergraduate students majoring in interior design or architecture are eligible to take 60 credits of two-year professional courses. The collection of works needs to be submitted through SlideRoom, and it needs to prove your experience, sensibility and skills of professional training before.


For students who do not have the foundation of undergraduate study in interior design or architecture, they need two semesters of qualification review courses (24 credits). These students will complete 80 credits in three years. These applicants do not need to submit portfolios, but we encourage you to submit portfolios of relevant majors such as pure art, fashion design, industrial design, graphic design, etc.
