The music major of Manhattan Conservatory of Music, the Bachelor of Music (BM) program of Manhattan Conservatory of Music makes students become art leaders. MSM's four-year undergraduate courses are designed for students with a high school diploma. They want to learn composition, instrumental performance, jazz (excluding the sound of jazz and jazz composition), musicals and vocal music.

MSM's Bachelor of Music course not only covers traditional music disciplines, such as music history and music theory, but also covers the core of intensive humanities, focusing on literature, history and expository writing.
Students will learn to become a complete artist and art leader, and have a deep understanding of the world and themselves.
Please note that: Manhattan School of Music It is not suitable for beginners to use any musical instruments.
Basic requirements for musical major: All musical students will be enrolled as freshmen and participate in MSM for four years. Complete application form, photo, resume, transcript and two letters of recommendation are required.
Musical audition requirements: all musical students are required to attend the on-site interview, and the performance will last three to five minutes, including: a one minute monologue; 32 section folk songs; 32 bar fast paced song. Songs should be age appropriate and from musicals. The audition students may also be required to participate in a vocal assessment with individual teachers, which lasts up to 15 minutes.
