It is a mixture of code farming atmosphere and artistic atmosphere, which makes people dizzy. Today, We will draw out six CMU interaction majors of Carnegie Mellon University, compare more "surprises" of interaction design majors horizontally, and the requirements for applying for six CMU interaction degrees.

Carnegie Mellon University is a private research university located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, called CMU for short. It ranks more than 20 in the comprehensive ranking of American universities, but the computer and information science related majors rank first all the year round. It is the first university in the world to launch the robot PHD project, and also the first school to provide a master's degree in interaction design. Every student who studies interaction design or prepares to apply for interaction design will probably give priority to CMU in Dream Schools.

Interaction majors of three CMU colleges of Carnegie Mellon University:

CMU Carnegie Mellon University's School of Design, School of Engineering and School of Computer Science have opened interaction majors in different directions, including service, communication, industry, user experience, human-computer and other fields. Let's take a look.

   Design Department:

The design school affiliated to Collage of Fine Arts has three master's degrees in interaction design, which are two-year MDes and one-year MPS and MA. The main research directions of the three CMU interaction design majors are interaction design in service and social innovation, but they are based on different basic settings of students. For example, MPS is for students with practical experience; MDes is for students with design background; MA is for students with any professional background who apply for transfer to another major.

Are you more confused when you see these? Can't understand the difference between these three very similar interaction majors? Let's take a look at the introduction, curriculum and application requirements of the three CMU degrees in interactive design.

 Carnegie Mellon University Interaction
