I don't know if you remember the case of a student who applied for studying abroad in British industrial design and won five offers. He is a student named Tianze. He was admitted by Camberwell College of Arts, University of Creative Arts, Coventry University, University of Sheffield, Nottingham Trent University and other schools. In particular, he got the offer on the spot when attending the interview at London University of the Arts, Today, Natural Light is going to interview this student and share with you the experience of Lunyi interview.

Interview at London University of the Arts

Sharing of Tianze's experience in Lunyi interview:

Q: Did you attend the interview of Lunyi Admissions Office? Did you get the offer on the spot?

Tianze: Yes, I was talking with the admissions officer until December 7.

I got the offer on the spot. It was really uncomfortable at that time, because the teacher said that when you went to Lunyi's interview, you should send things in advance. The examiner would watch for five minutes, and then go in after watching it. Go in and talk with him. Generally, the examiner would talk with you for half an hour at most.

As a result, I first sent the things in, and the examiner saw them for more than 20 minutes. Then he talked with me for an hour and a half. The time was extremely long and the questions were very detailed. He seemed very interested in my things. So it's not easy to get this offer.

Q: Is there any experience of UAL ethics interview that can be shared with the younger students?

Tianze: I think we must be able to answer the more frequent and detailed questions asked by the examiners. The main thing is not to be afraid of stage. At that time, a little girl interviewed in front of me was shy. She was kicked out without a word, and then cried all the time. The natural light teacher said you can't go in without saying anything. If you want to express your own thoughts, I would like to go in and say everything I can think of. So I think the most important thing is to express everything I want to express.

Q: Did the teacher in the natural light give you a mock interview or interview questions before the interview?

Tianze classmate: Yes, Mr. Liu Sihan and Mr. Wang Jiaxin interviewed me, because I went back to Zhengzhou for a period of time to study IELTS before the interview, and then the three of us took two or three online classes to answer possible questions in the interview. Experience sharing of Lunyi interview

As for the interview, many students have asked about the online interview and on-site interview, which is more likely to get an offer? What is the difference between online interview and face-to-face interview?

First of all, whether to choose online or on-site depends on your personality and communication habits. Some students will find it difficult to understand through the phone and must see the feedback of the other party's body language and facial expression to make it clear. However, some students may be introverted, and face-to-face communication may bring pressure, thus affecting their logical thinking and play, It's smoother across the phone.

Compared with the on-site interview, the disadvantage of the online website is that it is difficult to appreciate all the works. Therefore, the biggest taboo of the online website is to cherish words like gold, and must properly express the key points. The on-site interview is much more intuitive, and students can also bring works to give the interviewer a more comprehensive and three-dimensional understanding, but it is also a test of English conversation ability and on-site ability. If you can maintain self-confidence in the interview, do not recite words according to the script, have your own personality and style instead of catering to the interviewer, if your ability allows, create a good atmosphere, maintain eye contact, and let the interviewer see a charismatic artist is also very good points.

However, compared with the interview, the key to admission depends on whether the prepared materials are sufficient, whether the depth of the study plan meets the requirements of the university, and the most important thing is the perfection of the portfolio. In the work collection, the school has seen the students' professional ability and design level, so in the interview, what they want to see is the students' logical thinking ability, language expression ability, etc., and there are few observations involving professional skills.
