Creation of art works for studying abroad
I have only studied for 6 months as a sports student in the Academy of Fine Arts. When I entered the Academy of Fine Arts, I found that the students around me had several years or even more of painting learning experience, and I decided to take the art exam to enter the school, It only took six months (Not Versailles....).
I used to be a sports student, but my interest in art started in my junior year of senior high school. I went to the studio for the art exam for six months, and was admitted to the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts by accident. Of course, because the students are very strong, My final choice is a relatively unpopular major in printmaking.
After entering the professional study, I also went through a period of Confusion and inferiority During the learning process, I watched the students around me who were basically solid quickly entered the creative stage, while I was still practicing painting plaster portraits

With the experience of art examination, I started my art study early. I studied in Natural Light for more than 2 years. Although in my senior year, I was busy with the creation progress of the graduation project and my undergraduate studies, so I applied a year later.

The way of learning in domestic colleges and universities will pay more attention to the foundation. Teachers and university courses are aimed at all students. The courses in natural light are customized, more corresponding to the learning mode of overseas universities It may also be because of my relatively blank learning experience and not too many habits that need to be adjusted. I have a lot of ideas that fit in with professional teachers and soon become involved in the creation process of the collection.
At that time, there was a bit of a collision between the progress of the collection and the time of completion. I hardly hesitated. I still wanted to give priority to my completion works as much as possible, Because whether I enter or graduate school, it is all because I want to do what I like, It is reasonable to take each work seriously, and my confidence in applying again next year will also increase.

1. Red candle

The theme of the work combines some religions with my childhood impression of "red light district", I found the similar point of "red candle" in two seemingly conflicting events , and discuss this topic with criticism and sarcasm.
2. Childhood drowning experience
In this project, I used the design of the scene and the chain reaction of the combination of objects to restore my childhood drowning memory.
I chose Boiling kettle, coal stove, smoke alarm, voice control lamp Four items. The kettle placed on the coal stove will generate a large amount of water vapor during combustion, which will trigger the smoke alarm, and then the sound will be triggered, and the light will start to flash. The whole scene will be shrouded in a thick tension atmosphere, to express my "survival desire" at the moment of drowning.
At first, my idea was to make a large device, and I wanted to choose the corridor at my childhood home. However, due to the immobility of materials and scenes, In the end, I chose to record the whole process by means of image.
3. Complete book of cruel people
My creation cycle of this group of works is relatively long, which runs through the process of my college, completion of design and collection of works. This is also one of the art projects that the admissions officer was most interested in during the interview I painted a group of ruthless characters at all times and in all over the world in the form of painting.
My main point of view is the eternal topic of artistic creation, that is "How to draw" and "What to draw" . Maybe because my painting is not so long ago, I don't really like too concrete or grand themes, so I think the most harmonious creative state is "Play" and "Play" 。
So when I choose the painting object, the first thing I think of is some familiar celebrities. For example, the great men hanging on the campus, the characters in martial arts novels and movies, these seemingly far and powerful characters, I feel that the distance is drawn in during my observation, Find some points that want to be "fun", and then draw them through my subjective creation To weaken the solemnity brought by portraits, and to deepen the memory and vitality of the works in a playful way.
Later, these works I painted also participated in some exhibitions and received many positive comments, so I began to create a series of works, I have studied some unofficial histories of "cruel people" For example, Napoleon, Hitler, Yang Guo, Guo Jing, Van Gogh, etc., a total of 50-60 pieces were spent in the end, which is also the largest group of my works.
4. Interdisciplinary attempts
The last one was a work of cooperation with my architecture major classmates. We were college students, and it was also a natural light together at that time. In the late stage of creating art collections, we both entered the bottleneck of creation at the same time. At that time, the teacher suggested that we should make an interdisciplinary attempt together, so we hit it off.
This group of works is me A thought on time . The inspiration came from a construction site near my home. I witnessed the site from the forest to the flat, the construction site to the final high-rise building, which reminds me of the changes in the condensed version of modern cities.
Finally, we built a large model to build an urban space in the form of sand. In the scene, we also placed a blower to start regularly, The sand will repeat the whole process of falling from loose flying sand to form a city.
We finished this work during the epidemic, and experienced some setbacks, even overturned it several times. I was satisfied with the whole form of the final landing.

I believe that students who choose the path of art or pure art are inevitably worried about the future, and this issue is also something I think most about.
