Megan Suttles is an artist in Brooklyn and the founder, owner and curator of Hot Wood Arts.

As educator, she was responsible for international enrollment in Pratt from 2004 to 2012. As a professor of Portfolio Development, she was responsible for Collection review As a professor, she brings more optimization schemes, direction and inspiration for the students.
Megan is also a member of the Natural Light Admissions Officers Alliance! This is also the first domestic workshop of the alliance members in 18 years! New Year Benefits! Seize the opportunity!

Hot Wood Arts is an art space and exhibition hall founded by Megan. It is located in the warehouse building on Beard Street during the Civil War, in Red Hook, Brooklyn, covering an area of 7000 square feet. The development of this art group aims to encourage cooperation and inspiration in the urban environment.
Hot Wood Arts has 16 visual artist work areas, a recording studio, a public work area equipped with tools and other facilities, an art exhibition hall, and a performance stage. The 16 selected painters can get a one-year lease in the art district. They are called "residents" of the district.

02 About the Workshop
Charcoal, liquid correction pen, watercolor paint, marker, oil painting stick, brown kraft paper, white paper, cardboard, use multiple materials to express the pictures and stories in your heart.
No longer stick to simple lines and single pencils, and explore more depths, colors, and possibilities. Find her future with the young partners who have led one after another in Pratt, and discover the details of painting that you have neglected. Use a painting workshop to find your hidden color and strength.

Megan tells you her art path! How to create her art space? Her experience as an artist! How wonderful is her life as an artist doing installation and painting! As an admissions officer, Pratt has given the advantages and characteristics of Pratt's colleges and universities, as well as the small tips of Pratt Portfolio.
3PM-6PM:Practice
How to use diversified materials to complete painting? Megan will start from the requirements of Pratt's basic painting class and her personal experience as an artist, and lead you to open your mind! Broaden the media!
