Royal College of Music undergraduate Collection requirements:
vocal performance
Audit requirements:
1. Students applying for vocal music performance can choose Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong as the audit sites. In special circumstances, they can choose recording instead of auditing, but there will be no scholarship. During the audit, you may be asked why you want to study in RCM, what your interest in music is, and what else you need to improve in singing.
2. Students can choose different main learning contents. When choosing singing student audit, they need to prepare three songs with distinct styles and emotions, one of which must be opera style or oratorio aria. The jury can select only two songs for students to perform.
3. During the audit, you only need to bring your own and prepared tracks, and you can also bring accompaniment instead of teachers and interpreters.
Piano performance:
Your experience will depend on your specialty and the audition location you choose. Typical questions you may ask during the trial period include:
1. Why study in RCM?
2. What is your interest in music?
3. What do you think you need to do most to improve your performance?
Main research
