Academic background of CCI Dean of London University of the Arts:
Royal College of Art Doctor IED
First of all, he is the doctor of Huangyi IED project, that is Innovative Design of the Royal Academy of Art One of the strongest majors in the field, IED is a major integrating various "black technologies". It involves any subject field you want, and unexpected. It is related to information processing, but it is also a major combining rationality and sensibility. Sound and sound effects, digital media, visual arts, dynamic images, sensory devices, performance, image processing, experience design, all of which are the scope and research content of IED
Due to the specialty's particularity, the specialty has very high requirements for art overseas applicants. Students themselves must have backgrounds in other majors, such as Ben. Secondly, the high requirements of the school for IED students are also reflected in the cultivation of professional quality. Analytical ability, critical thinking, and the ability of combining technology with aesthetics to provide innovative solutions are all the training focuses of IED. Therefore, as a doctor in this major, Ben's academic ability and thinking awareness are beyond doubt.

Head of LCC Department, RCA Consultant, President of UCA
Ben Stopher was once the Director of the LCC Department of Interaction and Visual Communication, and he was responsible for both undergraduate and master courses. In 2015, he also optimized the curriculum for LCC's game design and information and interface design majors. Ben has participated in many interactive and digital teaching contents of LCC as the core teaching and research personnel.
In 2017, Huangyi set up the Digital Direction specialty, and Ben was the consultant of the project. During the initial project establishment, Ben gave his plan and suggestions on the framework of curriculum and teaching logic.
Ben also served as the Executive Dean of the British University of Creative Arts/UCA, managing three strong academic departments of UCA:
School of Film Media&PerformingArts/School of Film and Performance
School of Fine Art&Photography
School of Communication Design
It can be seen from this that Ben has some experience in the overall control of colleges and universities, and to a certain extent, he can ensure the smoothness of CCI academic and administrative processes of the 7th University.

Dean of CCI, London University of the Arts Artistic background:
As an independent artist and designer, Ben serves most of the top brands. For example, Paul Smith, a famous brand that has aroused heated discussion because of the high interaction and rich online celebrity selfie exhibition, has a long-term cooperation relationship with Ben, and Ben has also given sufficient support in interaction and digital media. Victoria&Albert, the national treasure of the UK, is also a client of Ben. In addition, he once served as the curator of the SE1 Data Stories Exhibition unit of the London Design Festival.

CCI faculty of London University of the Arts: Mick Grierson

Mick Grierson, CCI faculty of London University of the Arts Academic background:
Mick Grierson studied film and television music in Kent University as an undergraduate, and later completed his doctoral study in audio-visual composition in Kent. Later, as a professor, he worked in Goldsmiths Computer Department and was good at integrating experiment, technology, image and visual art into sound art.
He has cooperated with Google, Durham University and Sussex University to complete a large artificial intelligence project (MIMIC) costing 1 million pounds. MIMIC is an intelligent program for recording musicians' works, and it can also re create new music according to their styles.

Mick Grierson, CCI faculty of London University of the Arts Artistic background:
Mick is very good at integrating experimental art elements into music. For example, in the cooperation project<Translating sound>with BBC and Channel 4, he tried to express people's thoughts with musical elements, feel brain activity through a brain detection device, and reflect changes in brain activity on notes. Let people see the activities of the human brain and the changes of the voice through the visual form.
For another example, he also collaborated with Sigur Ros, a backswing band from Iceland. Sigur Ros was originally a band that was very keen on integrating experimental, classical and other elements into music. In this cooperation with Mick, they completed a series of experimental music together. Mick has designed a new creation mode called Bronze. When listeners listen to it, they will hear different songs. That is to say, even if it is the same song, they will hear different content each time. This album has been broadcast worldwide on Icelandic National Radio and YouTube.

Mick and Sigur Ros cooperation project
In addition to BBC and Sigur Ros, he has also cooperated with the artist Christian Marclay and Turner Prize winner Martin Creed in a series of works on sound art. Mick has unique insights in the field of sound art thanks to his rich experience in cross-border cooperation with artists. I believe that I can open a new art field with CCI students.
CCI faculty of London University of the Arts: Georgina Capdevila

Georgina Capdevila is one of the initiators of the creative organization FIU. At the beginning of its founding, FIU was just a company focusing on youth activities. But with the continuous development of the company, Georgina has also injected more young forces into FIU.

FIU activity site
FIU has begun to pay more attention to the creativity of young people and provide opportunities for young students in Barcelona, especially for young people who have just graduated but have not started work. They can take classes here and also do projects. They can participate in some brand cooperation, publicity activities, video creation, etc. With the help of FIU, students can get rid of the campus completely and start their own work smoothly.

The above is the resume of the teaching team members displayed on the official website. Our information source is the introduction of the official website and the personal website of these three members. It can be seen that the cooperation brands and personal research fields of the three are actually more inclined to the combination of interactive technology, innovative design and contemporary art. From providing interactive design for art exhibitions, to cooperating with the Backwave Band in sound art, to the youth creative platform, they are all inclined to the artistry of innovative design, which is very suitable for the "Creative" in the three words "CCI".
The professional curriculum also shows CCI's demand for creative concepts and expression. Through the team's CV, course introduction, and other official website information, natural light preliminary guess, CCI may use Ual's original pure art and fashion direction resources to open an interactive school more inclined to artistic expression.
Can I go to the CCI of the 7th University of the London University of the Arts, UAL, to study in the UK?
Based on today's content, can the three CCI instructors support CCI, a newly opened college, with their wonderful resumes, strong academic experience and rich artistic experience? It is difficult for us to give a 100% positive answer, but in terms of application, in the early days of the establishment of the university, the application pass rate will be higher.
But relatively, there will be some risks. After all, there is no experience to learn from, and I don't know how the teaching effect is. But CCI relies on Ual London University of the Arts It can be seen that some courses on the CCI homepage are actually taught in LCC, the degree of resource sharing is very high, and the probability of "unreliable" is very small for majors in the interactive direction.
