   Introduction to music degree abroad:

The degrees that can be obtained by undergraduate are BM and BA

BM is a Bachelor of Music degree. Generally, this degree provides more detailed professional learning. 80% - 90% of the courses are professional music courses. After completion, most of the employment is professional music performance. If you have studied or are studying musical instruments, composition, and music creation, a bachelor of music is very suitable for college study. Students can become professional musicians, composers, music producers, or workers in the music field. The length of schooling is generally four years. After four years of undergraduate music major study, graduates can engage in the following jobs: free music production, professional chorus performance, music publishing, composition, music equipment production, conductor, music guidance, education, music editing, music recording, private music teacher, etc.

BA refers to Bachelor of Arts degree. Only 40-60% of BA courses are music related courses. There are also some differences between the focus of courses and BM. Music learning is not as concentrated as BM. Secondly, students will also accept some more comprehensive basic knowledge of arts and science. Another advantage is that there are more choices after graduation. BA not only pays attention to students with musical expertise, but also to students with all-round development. After graduation, such students are not only limited to the main employment fields of bachelor of music, but also can choose fields or jobs suitable for their own development according to their hobbies.
