It is absolutely impossible not to have a ruler as the required guide line, which will not only affect the overall progress and planning of the collection, but also affect the final quality and effect of the collection. So, at the beginning of the basic course, the teacher assisted the thought expansion training synchronously, and at the same time, combined with the methods of searching materials, reading, professional guidance, etc., helped Yuexuan start to contact some professional knowledge points of clothing design, such as three-dimensional tailoring, clothing hand-painted, history of clothing design development, etc.

At the basic course stage, the teacher is constantly communicating with Yuexuan, and also constantly driving Yuexuan to think. During this process, the teacher found that Yuexuan began to have a very strong idea and sense of control of the creative style.

Secondly, in terms of color matching and form expression, Yuexuan also began to have very obvious personal characteristics. Not limited by traditional painting concepts, he has ideas and high creativity, and can quickly find his own expression intention and positioning in the creation.

At the end of the basic course, Yuexuan's hand painting ability has been greatly improved, which also helps her to show more painting and professional advantages in the later part of drawing renderings and process drawings of works collection.

Yuexuan experimented repeatedly in the creation to get the most satisfactory results as far as possible, and has begun to develop a very good creative habit. She can communicate with the teacher and strive for feedback as soon as she finishes her homework.

In fashion design, it is a very tedious process from having ideas to the final garment last night. Compared with other majors, it seems simple and easy to achieve. The first project<Whale Fall>of Yuexuan's zero basis clothing design collection studying in the UK was inspired by the words "Whale Fall is the last time whales love the ocean". Whales spend their lives in the sea. When they die, because their huge bodies cannot be corroded and decomposed by creatures in a short time, they will sink to the bottom of the sea and become a link in the food chain for other small marine creatures to eat. The whale has been taken care of by the sea all its life, and when it dies, it will feed back to the sea in this way.

Yuexuan was deeply moved from the moment she first read "Whale Fall". In Yuexuan's view, "Whale Fall" is the end of life, but also the beginning of a new life cycle. Therefore, she decided to take "Whale Falling" as the theme of her work and combine it with costume design to describe this scene.

Yuexuan first used purple iron wire and pipes as the materials for fish bone construction, and then put these frames supporting clothing on the platform to further improve the contour. In the part of fabric transformation, Yuexuan thought of sealing the crystal mud and ocean ball in the TPU bag to symbolize the concept of eternity and fullness.

Another project of Yuexuan is called<Wonderland>, which is about children with autism. The original intention of the creation of this theme also comes from a personal experience of Yuexuan: in a charity activity for autistic children, Yuexuan first came into contact with the group of autistic children and their paintings.

Because it is difficult for people to understand their inner world through simple and direct communication, autistic children also have a name - "Son of the Stars". The name is fantastic and full of imagination, but it also makes people feel deeply sad.

This also made Yuexuan start to think about what makes their creation so different from other works? Since then, Yuexuan has tried to understand this special group.

In terms of clothing color, Yuexuan chose to extract color from the paintings of autistic children, and combined felt wool as the main fabric. In terms of fabric selection, felt wool is mainly woven from fibers. The random and orderly combination of fibers reminds Yuexuan of the unique thinking mode of autistic children.

Secondly, the thinking of autistic children is always subversive, which makes Yuexuan want to show this feature in the specific visual aspect. Therefore, Yuexuan has made a bold breakthrough and transformation in the pattern of clothing, such as trouser legs and sleeves that become wrinkled due to exaggeration.
