I have been learning painting for more than ten years. In addition to my schoolwork, painting has enriched my life.

When I was in ninth grade, I came to England to study. In high school, I would also take some courses in painting. I personally have a complex about pure art, because I will express the deeply felt social events and the psychological changes and emotions I have experienced through the export of paintings, giving people a visual impact and making people resonate.

But when choosing undergraduate major, I chose industrial design after comprehensive consideration. One reason is that I don't want to mix hobbies with professions. I prefer an atmosphere of cooperation. It is also because of my understanding and love of industrial design.

In the senior high school, I had access to basic industrial design content. In my exploration and understanding, I found my ideal design style and concept. Among my portfolio projects, one project is to reverse the works of high school.

This project is based on a complete creative project of senior high school. The purpose is to Produce a hand-painted work of industrial design However, in the high school stage, the school paid more attention to hands-on practice, so the collection of works just filled the gap in the design process.

This project is a 1:1 children's bicycle, inspired by encouraging children to stay away from electronic products and take more outdoor sports. During the whole project, I personally completed laser cutting, splicing and combination, and finally presented a wooden detachable children's bicycle, It is very consistent with today's environmental protection concept and saves space. After reorganization, it can also become a rocking horse.

"The foundation is solid, and the biggest problem is my mood."

I have a certain foundation in painting and practical experience, so I don't have much basic courses.

Because I was in Britain when I first came to study in Natural Light Art, so The official project time is about 7 months. After returning to China, I basically lived in the Natural Light Campus. The professional tutor of Natural Light in the early stage helped me sort out the creative ideas of overseas industrial design, and taught me the design thinking and creative direction different from other majors. All the basic skills have been continuously improved in the later practice, which gives me the right direction for my later creation and makes me more skillful in design.

The whole process of making the collection of works was very smooth in terms of creation. My modeling and hand painting skills helped me create a lot. The only problem is my personal emotions I always doubt whether I can meet the application requirements of colleges and universities, and whether the portfolio project can be recognized by the admissions officer. The influence of this emotion more or less affected me. On the other hand, it was because I had to take into account the production progress of the collection of works, and on the other hand, I had to learn the content of high school. I could not lower the GPA by completing homework in online classes, so the pressure was relatively high.

I have completed five projects, including pure art creative projects and industrial design professional projects. My pure art projects all come from the social events I pay attention to and the real feelings I experience. Professional projects are also some problems I experience in my life. They are designed to solve the problems.

　　 1、 "Fun Kills"

This is one of my pure art projects, Inspired by novels, it shows how human beings are gradually numb under the guidance of modern entertainment. I referred to Surrealist style, using oil painting and installation art expression, Show people struggling in numbness and pain.

The whole project is somewhat dark and critical. I hope this project can convey my views on modern entertainment, and also warn contemporary people not to indulge in it too much, but to have a clear self-awareness.

　　 2、 "Deformed Aesthetics"

This is also a pure art project, Inspired by the current female theme movies, they mainly show the social pressure on women and make women have constant facial anxiety. Use medical beauty and other forms to gain recognition from others, so as to get self satisfaction.

I have designed three devices in this project, which are made into 1:1 human size. In the early stage, they were shaped with adhesive tape, and then reconstructed and spliced, Finally, three human devices, namely, "plastic surgery", "obesity" and "language injury", are formed. Criticize people's over evaluation of women's images, thus causing public reflection.

This is an industrial design project. Different from the pure art project, it pays more attention to the functionality and commerciality of design. Inspired by ordinary teapots in daily life, Through investigation, it is found that there are many inconveniences in the structural design of today's teapots. So I take this as a concept to solve the problems.

I chose the minimalist style, using environmentally friendly packaging, with the cover bowl as the main body, The cover is designed as a cobblestone, which is more suitable for the structure of the human palm, with a magnet in the middle for adsorption.

In the process of designing the finished product, I first used cardboard for shaping, then used blue film and finally used 3D printing for presentation. This design can make the teapot more convenient to use and improve its functional practicability.

Because the hottest concern this year is the global epidemic, Due to the epidemic situation, no contact has become the most concerned issue. Through investigation, I found that it was very difficult to send express mail during the epidemic period because it was handled by the post office in person when sending express mail overseas.

So I want to solve this problem, Design an intelligent contactless mail delivery platform. It can realize the system's own weighing, packaging, face payment and other functions. Although it is somewhat ideal, it is indeed very applicable.

I have completed one Storyboard , compare the designed platform with the previous situation, and analyze the convenience and advantages. besides, I also made a model with PT board, and finally found the factory to make the finished product.

After graduation, change the direction for further study, and constantly improve and realize the value of life

I also have my own plan for the future. Although it is not mature, I still have a clear direction. I should continue to apply for graduate students after graduation Compared with the practicality of my current industrial design, I hope that graduate students can choose more artistic majors, or choose financial majors that are more conducive to my future development.
