Modern Building Design MSc
Master of Science in Modern Architectural Design
Our master's program introduces you to the challenges of managing the architectural design process and industry practices. Using a multidisciplinary approach, you will learn how to balance conflicting design requirements in projects such as sustainability and welfare standards. You will learn how to combine regulatory requirements with low-carbon certification and basic building physics. In this course, you will also explore the relationship between building information modeling (BIM) and collaborative integrated design management.
Using dynamic digital modeling tools, you will apply your knowledge to optimize the low-carbon building envelope solutions. You will apply the theory to practice, and conduct on-site project briefings with students from different architecture related disciplines. This requires you to solve design problems in real time and have a deep understanding of multidisciplinary collaboration.
