Due to the professionalism of most fashion colleges, many of the colleges listed below have not entered the QS World University Ranking (this ranking only ranks universities covering multiple disciplines). Nevertheless, they all enjoy high reputation in their respective fields.

Top Fashion School in New York, USA

New York City is the most populous city in the United States, the city that people talk about most, and the city that all other cities aspire to. From Frank Sinatra to Alicia Keys, New York City is a muse of many artists, a melting pot of culture, and has inspired generations of urban residents.

Fashion is an important part of life in this city. Many of the world's most famous fashion journalists work here, including Vogue, Elle, Fashion Bazaar and Marie Claire. Here are two top fashion schools in New York.

London's top fashion school

The British capital is one of the top five cities in the world for students, and it is also known as one of the most fashionable cities in the world. Historically, fashion conscious Britons often sought inspiration from the French on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. However, in the last century, with the decline of the dominance of Paris fashion, London's fashion industry has undoubtedly become a leader rather than a follower. Here are three top fashion schools in London.

Saint Martin College of Fashion Design

Central Saint Martins is part of the London University of the Arts (UAL), offering courses in fashion, textile and jewelry design. Central Saint Martins is funded by the government. Some students come from various social fields and provide world-class teaching staff, including international fashion celebrities, such as Professor Louise Wilson.

The undergraduate tuition fees in 2019/2020 will be 9250 pounds (10600 euros) per year for UK and EU students, and 19930 pounds (27500 dollars) per year for international students. Famous graduates include Alexander McQueen, Paul Smith, Stella McCartney and Christopher Kane.

Top Fashion School in Milan, Italy

Due to its history of political power in the classical period and its cultural power in the Renaissance, Italy has long been known as one of the major trend leaders in Europe. Florence, Rome, Naples, Genoa, Venice and other cities are considered as fashion centers, but Milan has developed into the "fashion capital" of the country with its minimalist fashion houses in the 1980s, and joined the international fashion capital as New York, Paris and London.

   Malangoni Design Institute

The Marangoni Design Institute is divided into three campuses; Its main campus is located in Milan, and the other two are located in London and Paris. The school has 2000 students in these three campuses, providing courses in fashion design, fashion business, fashion purchase, brand management and fashion promotion.

Top French Fashion School

Paris, with its long history as a fashion center in Europe, continues to play an important role in the city's personality and views of its fashionable (and perhaps indifferent) residents. The low tuition fees of the French public university system offset the high cost of living, making Paris among the top five cities in QS.

Although New York, London and Milan are on a par with Paris in fashion design and news, for many quasi fashion students, Paris is still the center of the fashion world. The following is a brief introduction of two top fashion schools in Paris.

HEC Paris

The Paris Higher Business School has only a few hundred students registered. The Paris Fashion Union College offers fashion design and technology courses, world-famous fashion courses and bachelor's degree courses.

It also provides the reputation of a school that is associated with the agency responsible for identifying consignments that can be classified as advanced customization. Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino and Andre Curreges are alumni of the university. Students are usually not considered unless they have completed a design course elsewhere. Tuition fees range from € 13050 to € 14400 ($14720 to $16240) per year.

France ESMOD

ESMOD is an international fashion design and business school, headquartered in Paris, with branches in four other cities in France, and a total of 21 schools in the world. ESMOD provides fashion design and fashion business courses for 1500 students. At present, the tuition for undergraduate stage is 10550 euros (11900 dollars) per year, and the tuition for graduate stage is 12900 euros (15550 dollars) per year.

ESMOD is not only famous for its alumni (including Thierry Mugler and Nina Garcia), but also because it is the first and earliest French fashion design school established in 1841, and invented the tape measure and mannequin.
