Many alumni of the American Institute of Creative Design work in the world's top 500, and many alumni have great influence in the field of art and design, including artists and entrepreneurs. The American Institute of Creative Design ranks high in illustration, graphic design, photography and other majors. If you want to stay at CCS, how can international undergraduate students apply? This article provides the requirements for the collection of overseas works of art in Creative Design College and some application experience.


        American College of Creative Design Research projects are highly conceptualized, giving students the opportunity to participate in creative, research-based assignments in real-world design parameters. The American College of Creative Design is closely connected with various industries. How can I apply for an international student at the American College of Creative Design?


  Language requirements of American Institute of Creative Design:


TOEFL, IELTS, ACT or SAT scores


Submit your TOEFL, IELTS, ACT or SAT scores (our ACT code is 1989, and our TOEFL and SAT code is 1035). (TOEFL Internet Test requires at least 71 IBTs. If you submit ACT or SAT scores, the average ACT score of CCS students is 23. The average SAT score of CCS students is 1091.


IELTS score is 6 for admission. A score of 5 will be considered on a case by case basis.


  Other materials certification information requirements of American Institute of Creative Design:


Submit official high school or college transcripts. Non English transcripts must be translated into English by professional translation services before submission. Include all pages and diplomas or statements, if any. University level transcripts need to include certification information and credit explanation.


High school students must have a cumulative average of at least 2.5 points


Transfer students or college graduates must have at least 2.0 cumulative GPA. College students should submit a description of course learning in each class, so that we can determine the transfer credits for each course. When obtaining transfer credit evaluation, more artworks can be required.


  Deadline for application of Creative Design Institute


   Autumn semester begins


December 1 * Early Action Deadline

Submit all parts of the application for our highest tuition scholarship on December 1.


February 1st * priority period

For students who want to ensure full consideration of financial assistance and early registration.

The application will be reviewed in a rolling manner on February 1.


Deposit period for enrollment

Once you decide to participate, or before May 1, you can pay the registration deposit immediately.

  Requirements for the collection of overseas art works of Creative Design College:


   All professional overseas works of the American Institute of Creative Design:


For the collection of art works you submitted for study abroad, your application for study abroad should show original ideas and reflect you and how you view the world.


It should include examples of jobs that show the type of student you will be in Creative Research College.


It should make us aware of your interest and commitment in the field of art and/or design.


Your portfolio of overseas works may show how other artists and designers have influenced you.


You may also want to show how other aspects of culture - literature, music, movies, politics, fashion, etc. - help you develop intellectually and artistically.


The art portfolio you submit does not need to include examples of your work in your intended profession. This job should emphasize your strongest skills and show us your ideas.


Edit your work. Quality is more important than quantity. Limit your art samples to 5 to 8 consistent overseas work collections. The work accomplished in the past two years is usually the strongest.

Fine Arts

Traffic design


These art design majors must have strong drawing skills. In any media, it must include at least 5 pictures directly observed and/or imagined.

   Observation Drawing Guide


From the perspective of observation object, scene, still life, scenery and people. Include descriptive or representational drawings of your surroundings.


Examples include accurate line drawings and complete rendered compositions using full light, medium, and dark values.


If possible, it should include figure paintings or some figure paintings (hands, feet, etc.) or portraits.

Consider the entire image surface and try not to isolate an object in the center of the page.


For these drawings, any medium is acceptable, including but not limited to: charcoal, graphite, pen and ink, paint, chalk, color pencil and digital rendering.


  Imagination Drawing Guide


When submitting original character drawings, including the surrounding environment, you imagine them working, playing and living in it.


Consider filling the entire picture surface. Try not to isolate an object in the center of the page.


Character development should include your own unique style, rather than copying pre-existing styles (i.e. animation or comics).


When creating your own unique images, you can combine one or more reference sources. The copied image is unacceptable.


If you submit your own original invention or concept design (i.e. product, fashion, transportation or furniture), you can include sketches, background research and inspiration for developing them. Let's take a look at your thinking process!


  The College of Creative Design gives some suggestions to foreign students with weak artistic background:


A minimum of 5 to 8 art works for studying abroad are still required. You can complete these suggested jobs multiple times.


2D design project: Use the camera to create the following:


A portrait of how you see yourself.


A portrait of how others (or "the world") see you.


Documentation about your environment and how to interpret it.


3D design project:


Create a 3D sculpture from a variety of objects or materials that you find attractive. Explore colors, textures, forms, and information. Shoot it in its environment.


Create a mask to transform the wearer into a new character, creature or world.
