Undergraduate: TOEFL minimum requirement 61 points


Master: TOEFL minimum requirement 100 points


   Oberlin Conservatory of Music Undergraduate students have ESL courses, and the tuition and living expenses are about 70000 dollars

   Undergraduate on-site examination:

2. A complete classical sonata (Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven)

4. A work in the romantic period


5. A 20th or 21st century composer's work

*The audition school of Oberlin Conservatory of Music provides steel partners, and other auditions must be accompanied by steel partners


   Composer:


The Oberlin Conservatory of Music included the major of composition in the Department of Contemporary Music. The contemporary music department includes three majors: composition, electronic and computer music and contemporary chamber music.


Submit three music score PDFs and recordings (if any)


Factors investigated by the school: figurative musical instrument/vocal music writing in line with language habits, development of music ideas, diversified structure, accurate and readable annotation

1. One movement of a standard concerto - if you play the first movement of Elga's e minor concerto, or the first movement of Shostakovich's Cello Concerto I, please prepare the second movement at the same time


2. A complete etude by a composer: Du Porter, Popal, etc


3. Two movements of a Bach suite


The selected works must reflect the players' phrase, lasting performance and technical proficiency, including multiple rhythms of continuous bow and broken bow.

2. The first or last movement of a 19th or 20th century standard concerto
