Is it difficult to apply for the Royal Danish Academy of Arts? The Royal Danish Academy of Art, as the oldest art school in Northern Europe, was established in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. The Royal Danish Academy of Arts is divided into Architecture College and Visual Arts College. The teaching language of KADK is Danish and English. In the undergraduate stage, it is basically Danish. In order to apply for the undergraduate course, you need to provide a Danish certificate. In the master stage, there are nine English majors. In addition to the traditional architecture and design related majors, KADK It has also cooperated with Copenhagen Business School (CBS) to set up strategic design&entrepreneurship, a cross discipline of design and business, by combining the advantages of the two schools in their respective fields.    Royal Danish Academy of Arts Is it difficult to apply for a construction school:


Undergraduate: Danish


Graduate student: IELTS 6.5, no less than 6 points for each section


Language proficiency: You must be able to read, speak and understand Danish (or Norwegian or Swedish), and be able to follow the teaching and other activities provided by BFA courses. The BFA program includes all required courses taught in Danish. You must also have a basic level of English.

Qualification examination: BFA course has no requirements on the educational background of applicants. Everyone is welcome to apply.


Application fee: You must pay an application fee of DKK 750. This fee is non refundable regardless of the result of your application.


Credit hours: three-year bachelor's program and three-year master's program


Age: According to Danish law, the Royal Danish Academy of Arts does not impose age restrictions on students.


Tuition for studying abroad: The tuition for each academic year is DKK 120000, which is equivalent to DKK 60000 for the autumn semester (September 15 to January 31) and DKK 60000 for the spring semester (February 1 to June 30).


Online application: The School of Visual Arts only accepts digital applications. As with all other art education programmes hosted by the Danish Ministry of Culture, the Visual Arts School website applies online.


When you apply for these education courses for the first time, the portal will ask you to create a user profile, including your name and email address. After setting this user profile, you will be able to view and edit your application, and the portal contains an inbox where you will find our messages to you. You can use your profile again in future applications, and you can use it to apply to several different Danish art education projects at the same time.


Portfolio: The application process involves a series of questions that you must answer. You will be asked to upload your resume and files of your work. All applicants are evaluated according to the artistic evaluation of their artistic works. The Royal Danish Academy Council's assessment focuses on the originality of the work submitted for consideration, as well as the potential of the applicant for artistic and professional development.
