As far as I know, many students choose the internship course in order to have an internship opportunity, but in fact, I think this course is not so meaningful. First of all, there are few good posts. It is easy to lose the position if more than one person grabs one. Secondly, the role is marginal.

Take our group as an example. I was assigned to the Royal Conservatory of Music as an archivist; Some interns in the marketing department of Manchester University just send emails to students every day; Internship in the art gallery is to receive visitors at the front desk

Although some people have good experience, the gold content is not very high in most cases, so we should consider whether it is suitable to put it into CV

   Assignment/Punch in Inspection:

Before each class, there will be materials and literature that need to be previewed. Seminar will discuss the literature, and there is almost no homework for the class

Classroom performance is not included in the final total score; Some classes will have group work, which needs to be reported to ppt and included in the total score

The class management of MANU is relatively loose, and the class needs to be signed in, but the sign in system can be completed anywhere. Generally, there is no roll call, which can be said to rely on self-consciousness

   Employment direction

It is quite extensive, and the work related to cultural and artistic creativity can be done. The conventional direction is theater, art gallery, museum, gallery, brokerage company, advertising company, Internet, etc

But it can only be regarded as a stepping stone, and it still needs to accumulate relevant experience

   Comprehensive experience

In addition to classes, some study tours and other activities will be organized, but the experience is not as good as expected, and of course not bad. The teaching content is not very in-depth. It stays on the surface and is more like an entry-level project. It is not enough for undergraduate students who want to further study in art management. In terms of art resources, Manchester City is far inferior to London, which also needs careful consideration
