In these three vacations, foreign students will make full use of these three vacations as the best time to "investigate art colleges", "learn professional knowledge outside books", and "develop the Shunqing plan for target colleges".
Participate in summer school/courses, make a comprehensive plan for undergraduate application through the continuous deepening and superposition of each summer course, and make full use of these three time nodes to judge school selection, and prepare your own application for undergraduate:
Step 1 - Participate in Summer Camp of American Art Academy
Step 2 - Summer courses in British art schools
Step 3 - You can choose whether to participate in the summer school of other national art colleges or comprehensive universities
Step 4 - By comparing British and American art schools and comprehensive universities, choose the appropriate schools and majors
Compared with domestic art colleges and universities at undergraduate level, ordinary high schools, art high schools, and even international high schools, there are few opportunities for students to participate in various summer camps. Before applying for art colleges and universities, students have almost zero awareness of the school!
Although most Art study institutions The study tour program will be launched from time to time. However, for high school students and their parents who are preparing to apply, such programs are often accompanied by uncertainties: safety, accommodation, value, language, physical health, time, visas, etc. These problems often become problems and stumbling blocks for students and parents.
However, this interdisciplinary portfolio coaching is different from any overseas Pre College Summer Course! The natural light brings the overseas summer experience to China. Summer Camp 3:Spatial Dynamics
RISD Foundation Year
One of the three themes - Spatial Dynamics
No need to go to school or study abroad
RISD current professor in natural light
Directly bring you real class
Who says sculpture is mud? Who said that building space can only be used? When sculpture encounters space, structure, materials, residence, space and time, what kind of interesting artistic effect will be produced when these terms are combined with each other?
One exploration of non-traditional sculpture materials, one reinterpretation of space that breaks through conceptual cognition, one experience that art and design collide to create wonderful sparks, one inspiration that breaks through traditional cognition, and you can redefine sculpture and space!
Summer Camp Schedule
DAY 1/
Course content
step 1
Lecture-
Re "Introduction" to Sculpture
Classroom presentation-
Make a sculpture out of the found material. Use your imagination to create any work! Challenge the sense of space, materials and technical skills
Group comments
step 2
Homework-
Find items that can only be used by one person at a time. For example, chairs, clothes, toilets, pens, keyboards, headphones, tableware, etc. Study how these people interact with objects when they use these objects; How people use them; In the process of use, what changes have taken place in these articles, and whether there is wear, damage, etc; Consider whether these items have been fully utilized... After a series of thinking, make a group of renderings (drawings, schedules, videos, recordings, etc.) to show your thinking results, and be ready to show your thinking success in class the next day.

DAY 2/
Course content
step 1
In groups, show each other the professional content of the previous day, discuss with each other, and have a critique. Based on your own ideas and concepts, and suggestions from classmates, we will upgrade the concept.
Course presentation-
Based on the homework of the previous day, select a research object and redesign it. This time, the selected object needs to be "for two or more people to use at the same time". Recreate this object so that the user/participant must meet the "sharing", "contention" and other relationships.
Thinking about problems-
Do you display/use most of the original items?
Could this primitive usage be practical, absurd, interesting and embarrassing?
Consider the experience meaning of using the object at the physical interaction level
After thinking, will you choose to keep the original use of the object, continue to use the object, or abandon the original use and choose independent innovation?
step 2
Homework-
Continue to complete your sculpture

DAY 3/
Course content
Complete all the contents of this project, conduct a presentation, make comments on each other, and discuss how to improve their works.
