Layout of your portfolio is not a font design project. Find a clean set of sans serif fonts, and use different thicknesses and sizes to complete the design and layout of the text description part of your portfolio.

Don't randomly stack all kinds of beautiful elements. All elements in the work should be "responsive" to your theme, or it will distract the attention of the audience. Remember to delete meaningless decorative lines!

In addition to the need for clean and clear typesetting, it is important to keep your portfolio organized. In fact, when typesetting, pay attention to building an invisible narrative timeline, from early research, production to late typesetting.

Pay attention to visual visual expression! Art majors need the ability to transform words into graphics. If data information is involved, we can refer to some advanced data charts.

If it is a large piece of text information, such as involving programmed life, we will certainly investigate the keywords such as machinery/grid/constraints. According to the keywords, we can search for pictures to make visual collages, visual gadgets, etc., which are all good choices

Coordinate the unity of picture style! Many students will directly use the original survey image to present it. In fact, we should properly reprocess the survey image according to the output image and the overall effect of the page. For example, add a layer of project main tone/cutout on the theme color material to all pictures, which is harmonious and not monotonous

　　 3. Design theme of each project

Lack of concept development! In the process of helping students to set up and make a collection of works, I found that many students will have a problem, which is the lack of development after putting forward the concept. For example, my topic is biological invasion. You can't just find some biological invasion. You should also dialectically discuss the causes, historical origins, impacts and consequences of this biological invasion, the relationship between human and biological invasion, and the association and metaphor of invasion in other fields.

　　 4. Drawing style of each project

Partition well! Our project will involve multi-dimensional research, such as first-hand research on tracking and photographing certain groups/phenomena; Second hand research content such as artists/books. Then we can roughly plan the next page when arranging the first draft, classify the picture and text content in the box, make the logic clear first, and then make the page beautiful~
