Well, we were divided into three groups at that time. My undergraduate was vision, and my graduate student wanted to apply for graphic arts. Another was finance when he was an undergraduate. These two students are both cross major, and both are transfer majors, So we work in groups of three.

Well, there must be, because I used to like illustration very much, but I can't draw such beautiful things for the time being. Maybe some people have many ideas, some people have solid basic skills, and the illustrations or font design are very beautiful, In this way, we can gather the advantages of the three of us in one project, and the teacher's guidance is also very convenient.

One student studied finance as an undergraduate, and his idea was very rigorous. The sister of Yangmei had solid basic skills. Although she was a student of scientific animation, I think her plane was also very good. She was very strict with her collection of works, because she wanted to apply for the top three schools in Britain, so she would take us further. 　　 Natural light: Have you encountered any difficulties or problems in your entire portfolio, including training? How did the teacher help you?

At the very beginning, everything was difficult at the beginning. From the time of making a collection of works, I didn't know what it was about. My previous online classes were completely different from theirs. Our classes were separate font design or separate graphic design, but they were complete projects like a collection of works, It includes all the graphic design and font design learned in the undergraduate course, and it requires that you have ideas for this project, and also show what to use to present your ideas.

At first, I didn't understand this very well, and I also made some unsuccessful attempts. I remember Mr. Dong. I showed her, and then she told me carefully. At the beginning, it really took a long time, including that she also let me read the works of other students, recommended many books and public accounts to me, and let me see how they did it, Later, I knew where to go.

　　 Natural light: Is there a big gap between the mode of your undergraduate class and the way of doing homework and the course in natural light?

Yes, in fact, I went to Nankai University as an undergraduate in a comprehensive university, but as a comprehensive university, I didn't dig deeper into art than a single major school, so teachers may be more willing to encourage me from the perspective of ideas. If there is any software that can't be used, Mr. Dong will also seriously teach me, because our school doesn't teach PS and AI, and I am self-taught, So I'm not very proficient. At the beginning, I didn't know there was a self-study classroom, because I didn't expect that everyone would study so carefully. They were really doing their own projects instead of taking a loose rest. For example, the clothing department was really taking models to dress models. When I was an undergraduate, we also had a studio, but our studio was empty, basically using computers in the dormitory, Because of our professional characteristics.

But there will be many small experiments in natural light, such as wet extension painting, which is a combination of materials. In fact, when I was an undergraduate, I had never done anything so rich in materials. I basically operated on computers. I felt that natural light was very atmosphere. When I was doing the third project, I wanted to make a small device, which needed two small corners, If our undergraduate school really didn't have such a place to do such an exhibition for me, then we went to the natural light to find a small classroom and finally realized it.

At that time, interdisciplinary was to participate in a summer course. It belongs to the major of graphic and illustration, and its name is Think Can't Think.

It's very similar to the foreign model. When I didn't attend our small workshop, I saw industrial design and interaction design. They gave lectures in the rest area, and several people discussed together. It was really a contentious discussion. I can't believe the scene. When we came back, we were really everyone talking about their own ideas, How to make the common project better? I feel that I am really working hard on something. Unlike the undergraduate course, I just want to do a font or hand in an assignment. I feel that the project itself is deeper than the undergraduate course in depth.

　　 Natural light: I would also like to ask if you chose Leeds, Loughborogh and Southampton. Is there your dream school or the result of discussion with the teacher?

In fact, my teacher recommended me to go to art schools like Lunyi, but I prefer comprehensive schools.

My undergraduate course is a particularly comprehensive college. Although it is not as professional as the Academy of Fine Arts, I feel that the learning atmosphere is very strong. For example, when I was in high school, I didn't think that I would run to the study room on Saturday and Sunday when I went to college, or stay in the study room until 8 or 9 o'clock every day, I think my college is just relaxing.

But you can see that people like the School of Mathematics and the School of Chemistry are all self-study, so they are embarrassed to go to play again. Although there are few people related to my major around, I think it can broaden my horizon, that is, to see what students in other majors are learning. For example, my fourth project is a project about medicine, It is a project to speak for doctors, because I prefer medicine as a discipline, and it happens that this discipline can also be reflected in the collection of works, so that we can see what kind of life state or learning state they are in at ordinary times, and then use them in my collection of works, which is also a way to draw inspiration.

In fact, when I volunteered for the college entrance examination, there were not so many. When the Times was in my school, he only had environmental design and visual communication design. Then he thought that the best examination site would be the one to apply for. Then he chose visual communication design because there were relatively few people who applied for it at that time.

In fact, after learning it, I found it was really interesting. It was the kind of design I wanted. I used to prefer illustration, but compared with applied art, illustration was more artistic. I also wanted to have more employment channels in the future, so I now feel that visual communication should be the best compromise option, Now I feel that more and more.

When I took the art exam, I didn't apply for too many schools, but only a few art schools and comprehensive schools. I really didn't understand anything at that time. Then I went to another class, and transferred to a re study class. Because I thought they would be very experienced, at least not to fight alone. I stuck behind them all day long, Ask them when they should apply to which school, where they should go for the exam, when they should apply, when they should confirm on the spot, and then follow them to rent a house.

I still remember that I didn't do well in the joint exam at that time, which was not the score I imagined, and I felt that I was doomed. At that time, I remember that we went to Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts in winter, and then went to an exam site in Beijing. We had to rent a house, but we couldn't find a house, so we had to live in the basement. The four of us crowded into a taxi to look at the house in the basement, On the way, I learned from my mobile phone that my joint examination score was particularly low. I was very sad at that time. When I crossed the overpass at night, I sprained my foot. The next day, the examination room was still on the fifth floor. I was very heavy at that time. I was carrying my things. In fact, I think his painting was very good, but the teacher just didn't approve it, that is, it didn't meet the standards of the joint exam.
