I majored in landscape design as an undergraduate. At first, I didn't make a very clear decision to study abroad. However, my college professional teacher is a returned designer. Whenever he talked about his experience of studying abroad in class, I would prick up my ears. Over time, influenced by my teachers, I began to look forward to the state of study and life in foreign universities.

At the end of my sophomore year, I talked about my future plans with my college classmates who played well and found that they had the same ideas as me, which made me more determined to study abroad. We hit it off and began to prepare landscape design applications for British graduate students separately according to our own actual situation.

Although I made a decision when I was hot in the head, I had no idea what to do next. After being recommended by my sister, I came to Natural Light for consultation. The teachers here are really patient. They answered my puzzles one by one, arranged auditions for me, and took me to meet the teachers of professional courses. After careful consideration, I decided to start the application process here for more than a year.

When I first came here in April, the course schedule was not very full. At that time, I didn't think so. I felt that I was not as tired as the legend. However, after more than two months of basic courses, I have been busy since July 1, and have classes every day. Fortunately, my undergraduate school is closed for the summer vacation, otherwise I'm afraid I can't be busy.

In the summer workshop of natural light, I took two teachers' professional courses, and both teachers were assigning tasks to me, taking me to do projects, and the schedule was very close. To be honest, I felt so stressed at that time, but now I think if I don't do this, I'm afraid I will have to stretch the "front" for a long time.

Although the course is intense, the process of acquiring new knowledge makes me very motivated every day. What makes me most happy is that compared with our school, the teachers here will give us more targeted theoretical knowledge to enrich and deepen the theme of our practice.

According to the schedule and progress, I got stuck at the beginning of the first project. At the specified time, I was late to determine the theme of the project. Later, with the teacher's advice, I could find inspiration around my school life. Finally, I chose a river near our school Shunyi campus and the landscape on the river bank, and determined the content of my first personal project "Riverside Landscape".

Enthusiasm is ultimately no match for endless research, endless information and endless drawings. Until one day, I don't remember the specific reason. I only remember that I was a bit of a bull's eye at that time, and I felt that others could not understand what I was saying. I was very worried. Finally, I couldn't help it. I cried myself in the middle of class. Teachers and classmates came to comfort me. Since then, I have made up my mind to be strong and have an absolute ability to withstand pressure.

　　 It's not ugly, but I'm a perfectionist

After crying last time, I reflected on my shortcomings and decided to make up for them. Now when I think about those months, I was even more nervous than the college entrance examination, and I was also a perfectionist. If I didn't try my best to draw my ideal picture, I would think it was very ugly.

At that time, when I stayed up late to change the plan, I said the most words: "Since I have to finish crying and kneeling, I choose to finish happily."

At that time, I had gradually adapted to this rhythm, and I was very satisfied with the sense of achievement brought by my work. I began to learn to hand in my homework, adjust my plan and think when I met problems.

Soon, the work of another project that was carried out almost at the same time as the "Riverside Landscape" in my impression also started. The special feature of this project is that it is a cooperative project.

Our inspiration mainly comes from the content of the interdisciplinary practice activity of the Natural Light "Urban Renewal Plan" that we participated in together. Our design team was established in this activity.

At that time, I was very happy. The members of the team stayed together every day, checked information in class, thought about plans, and ate and drank together after class. What impressed me most was that students majoring in pure arts paid much attention to humanities, while students majoring in graphic arts would like to know how to arrange the layout more suitable for our theme.

In addition, the teacher will urge us to strictly implement the plan, and will do everything possible to urge us to draft for our perennial procrastination and slow drawing. 　　 Unforgettable interdisciplinary cooperation

This half year has passed in a twinkling of an eye, and more than half of my collection of works has been completed. I have done three projects in total, of which "Thousand Island Lake Wetland Landscape" is the most impressive, and also the largest and most productive one among the three.

"Thousand mu Lake Wetland Reconstruction" is also a cooperative project. I remember very clearly that when the teacher of the interdisciplinary practice course of natural light organized an investigation of wetland landscape, my team members and I attended.

Later, when we talked, we mentioned the excitement when we arrived at the site that day, because they, like me, found that in addition to the large area of this wetland, the local ecological environment was also complex. In this way, it will provide us with many research directions.

After returning to the natural light, several landscape "interns" and other professional "interns" like interaction, pure art, etc. immediately formed a group to "debut". Following the previous tradition, each member of the class can express his/her views in his/her own professional background and discuss with other members of the group. After the plan is determined, he/she can work separately and eat and drink after class. The deep friendship between me and my team members has also been established since then.

In retrospect, I really want to thank the interdisciplinary activities of natural light. I was also very happy to meet my good friend ZiHan at that time. We are the same professional and group, so we often discuss homework together, and she also successfully got a satisfactory offer. I was very lucky to meet my team members and to cooperate with them to complete our collection project in the "East Suburb Thousand Mu Lake Gongyuan", the largest wetland park in Beijing.

As an experienced person, I want to give you a little advice that you must be patient with yourself. At the beginning of the work collection, it is understandable that the first project is done slowly or the effect is not ideal. My experience is to sum up my experience while doing it, and the second project will naturally go smoothly. Secondly, I often talk with my teacher about the difficulties I encountered in my collection of works or my ideas on the work plan. The teacher would patiently help me analyze the reasons and put forward suggestions for modification every time, and explained them very carefully. In short, we must communicate with teachers more. In addition, the teacher often tells us that we should use our brains more and learn to draw inferences from other cases.
