Students of the Jewelry Making course will have the opportunity to experiment with different methods to make jewelry works with traditional and modern techniques. Students begin to conceive work plans by drawing sketches and process drawings, and complete their own works in the studio under the guidance of teachers and teaching assistants. Everyone can design according to their own wishes, and choose the most suitable materials and production process for the design. In this process, students can use silver and a variety of gemstones. Onafi College has a rich stock of materials for students to choose from. The cost of materials used in all courses has been included in the tuition fee. All finished products belong to the producer. Jewelry making courses are divided into one-year, two-year and three-year courses 。
The first year's primary courses are open to all. Students from other colleges or universities or those with a certain foundation who apply for intermediate (the second year of the three-year program) or advanced (the third year of the three-year program) courses need to pass the college entrance examination and provide their own portfolios. LAO is the best professional institution in Italy to learn jewelry design theory and techniques. The college offers a variety of courses according to the needs of students. The duration of courses in this major is at least six months and at most two years. It is divided into practical courses and comprehensive courses combining practice and theory. The two-year jewelry design course is a complete training program of theory and technology.
In addition to the technical drawing, design and rendering courses (16-20 hours per week), the main courses also include hours of jewelry history per week. The annual course also includes the basic courses of jewelry design CAD software drawing.
