Interaction Design Course of Art Center Design College
In this interdisciplinary studio, students explore different technologies, advanced themes and theories, and the emerging interactive narrative framework. Applying traditional stories and time-based technologies to new forms of interaction, allowing event driven experiences such as networks, physical computing and interactive entertainment, students will create screen based narratives and immersive environments. Interactive Design Application Requirements of Art Center Design School
1. A complete application
The interactive design application can be completed online or downloaded from our website. The application will include several articles of varying length.
2. Application fee
The application fee for US citizens and permanent foreigners is $50, and that for non US citizens and non US permanent residents is $70. You can apply for tuition reduction or exemption through the university board of directors, or provide a letter from your guidance consultant or teacher.

Applying for the undergraduate interactive design works collection of the Design Institute of the Art Center should be rigorous and logical, and should have a perfect design process and creative idea process under the premise of reflecting excellent vision. Considering that students from other majors submit applications, the portfolio can include works from other majors. The interactive design collection needs to be submitted through SlideRoom in PDF or Website format.
graduate student:
Postgraduate application requirements for the interactive design portfolio of the School of Design of the Art Center. The portfolio can include 15 to 20 works in any media. Applicants must also attach a purpose letter of less than 1000 words, describing their own motives and important artistic concepts.

These materials should be sent directly to the Admissions Office by each license issuing agency. Transcripts must be in a sealed official envelope from every institution you attend, or electronically via secure electronic transcript services such as navigation, parchment, National Student Information Center, graffiti, or electronic records. Ask for your transcript at or before submitting your application. If they arrive before your application, they will be filed.
Students must have completed or expect to complete a high school or general equivalent diploma (GED) before they enroll.
All students must submit their high school transcripts or GEDs, except those who have completed their bachelor's degree at the time of application. ArtCenter considers the application of students who receive education at home. The homeschool transcript should include the course name, grade (if there is no letter grade), credits, and the signature of the homeschool administrator (parents or other organizations, professors, and people who evaluate your homeschool courses). Include transcripts of any work done in college while in homeschool programs. Each school should submit a transcript; Past university assignment records shall not be accepted in condensed form on a transcript.
The transcripts of international schools cannot be provided in English directly from the issuing institution. They must be provided in the original form and translated into English by the translation agency, official translator or World Education Service.
If you have attended a non degree school or program, be sure to list it on your application. Please note that all documents, once submitted, will become the property of the School of Design of the Art Center and will not be returned to the applicant.
5. SAT or ACT score
For applicants in spring 2019 and later, SAT or ACT scores are optional. The Art Center School of Design is pleased to receive a copy of your score if you choose to provide it. However, students who apply directly from high school or those who are in college do not need to submit scores.
6. Proficiency of English as a foreign language
Undergraduate applicants who have not completed a high school or bachelor's degree in English must take the Internet based TOEFL (IBT) or I E.L.T.S。 The minimum score of IBT is 80, while I E. L.T.S has a minimum score of 6.5. We do not participate in electronic download I E. The school code is not required for the score of L.T.S.
The scores must be sent from the examination office to the admissions office and must be obtained within two years before the application. The agency version of this test is not accepted.
The Committee may request any student who has questions about English ability to take a test, including those who take ESL courses in high school.

Interaction design fees of Art Center Design School
Each semester's tuition includes 19 credits for undergraduates and 24 credits for postgraduates.

Universal access fee (required per semester): $300
You will have $300 tuition deposit credit on your account for undergraduate students and $400 for graduate students. The tuition fee for college students is $21408, and that for graduate students is $22625, less any financial aid that has been issued. A $300 general access fee will allow students full access to all campus stores and computer facilities and will increase tuition fees.
As the College continues to strive to achieve the highest level of education, tuition fees are usually increased annually during the fall. Students should plan for this usual growth.
