　　 I "Actually... we just look the same"

In fact, for me, having a sister who looks the same as me is a rare kind of luck. Everything is the same since childhood, but "war" cannot be avoided. Later, as we grew up, we both showed full interest in art and design, so we chose to study in the Academy of Fine Arts.

However, due to different scores in the college entrance examination, we entered different majors. I chose oil painting and my sister chose new media There are also some differences in our personalities. I prefer to communicate with others, while my sister is quiet and likes to think about things she likes.

We both love reading, watching movies and traveling, which I believe are the hobbies of many art students. We will turn life experience into creative inspiration in tourism to observe and think . They will also pay attention to the content of some design websites and public accounts, constantly expand their knowledge and update their knowledge base.

In addition to some art exhibitions, we are also very interested in installation art. In fact, my sister conveyed this to me more because of her professional reasons, I began to try to combine installation art, new media art and pure art We found that the original world of art is really rich and can present more content under different creativity.

　　 II "The fate of interaction design originates from a competition..."

In college, we still had a very full time, and we can only learn the art we like, which is a super happy thing.

In college, we also participated in many professional project activities, including factory equipment renovation, and urban volunteers to help design app designs for communication between rural children and urban children.

On the one hand, we can get a lot of internship results, on the other hand Increase our artistic skills, understand the current situation in the industry, and constantly explore the future development direction.

We have the same idea of continuing to study and further study. In fact, there is an unexpected opportunity to choose the interaction design major.

One of our high school classmates took part in a design contest and invited us to help design the app interface. In the design process of the project, we are responsible for producing the preliminary renderings . This in-depth contact with interaction design has filled us with interest in this major. Later, I also participated in the optional course of interaction design arranged by the school Since then, we have decided to change our major to study interaction design.

Interaction design is not very mature in China, and overseas teaching qualifications and the development of the major are very advanced, so we decided to go to the UK to learn interaction together.

　　 III "Change the design thinking, and accidentally hit the inspiration"

When we first came to study in Natural Light Art, we only knew a little about interaction design. therefore At the early stage, professional teachers let us have a deep understanding of the profession of interaction while guiding our thinking.

My sister and I studied together at the beginning, but then there was such a tacit understanding in the first project "Inspiration event" . So we began to "force ourselves apart", reorganize our thinking, search for our own concerns and convert them into project inspiration.

In my first project, the teacher guided me patiently and responsibly, How to transform inspiration into reality. Through polishing each step, train me how to independently promote the progress of the project 。

Later, at the teacher's suggestion, I attended "Big City and Small Village" public welfare activities organized by Natural Light Art Study Abroad The planning and design of a rural site with students from other majors not only gave me rich practical experience, but also gave me a new understanding of design.

I think the greatest value of design is to solve problems in life in the simplest way. My four projects all come from the problems I found in my life. I hope I can change this situation through my design.

　　 Nursing homes are not just cold

My first project is Service upgrading design of nursing homes In traditional Chinese families, it is disrespectful and unfilial to send the elderly to nursing homes. This is not only because of the influence of traditional concepts, but also because there are problems in the service of nursing homes.

So I designed a series of service design upgrades for home-based nursing homes, and produced a smart bracelet and service blueprint. The elderly can really experience the comfort and care of home here.

　　 Campus recycling

I believe everyone is familiar with the second-hand platform, but it is unique only in the campus. What I designed this time is A second-hand transaction app on campus Many students will have many books and electronic products that cannot be properly handled at the end of the semester or during the graduation season. So I designed this platform to help students reduce this trouble and make the best use of these items.

After investigation, it is found that apps are more practical than websites for current students, so this time The design outputs an app, a display smart cabinet and a service blueprint. In a real sense, we can solve students' practical problems through interaction design.

　　 Let there be only beautiful scenery and no accident when traveling

You must have seen travel accidents in the news, which often occur in relatively remote areas. The tourists who have accidents can not get timely treatment, which leads to irreversible tragedy.

In addition to the travel needs, my own family once encountered an emergency situation. Since the family did not understand how to describe the situation when contacting 120 in an emergency, and the doctor did not know the patient's symptoms, they could not provide emergency assistance at the first time. Fortunately, everything turned safe when they were sent to the hospital.

Inspired by this, I designed An intelligent first-aid equipment . This project includes A smart glasses and functional medical app . The device can Realize real-time positioning and telemedicine guidance. And this equipment can be used by rescue personnel, not only easy to carry, but also can help in emergencies.

　　 New Sacrifice

My last project is a The interdisciplinary project was completed with landscape design students . Make use of space transformation to make rational use of the vacant space around some cities. It shortened the distance of everyone's sacrifice, and also realized online operation on the interactive design app.

The output of this project is An online ritual app and a service blueprint The teacher gave us a lot of guidance in the early stage and strictly controlled every detail for us. An interactive device design of "Soul Road" has also been added to the app to maximize online guidance and offline operation.

　　 V We want to apply what we have learned in the future after graduation!

So far, we have temporarily received offers from these three British universities. In fact, our research direction is slightly different. My sister prefers the user experience direction of interaction design, while I prefer service design and user experience.

We want to go to different colleges and universities in London, England. We are really tired of staying together. I want to experience the teaching methods and educational resources of different colleges and universities, and maybe I can go to classes instead! (joking...)

After graduating from graduate school, we still hope to have some accomplishments in interaction design. If we have the opportunity to join a professional studio or company, it is the best. After many years, the domestic interaction design market should also develop. I hope we can learn advanced foreign technology and design concepts to serve the society.
