Savannah College of Art and Design is a private, non-profit, internationally recognized university that awards bachelor's and master's degrees in a unique location and prepares talented students for careers online. SCAD offers degrees in more than 40 fields of study, and more than 75 disciplines in Savannah, Georgia, Atlanta, Hong Kong, Lacoste, France, and online through SCAD distance learning. To protect Art study abroad Students are not affected by unexpected medical expenses. SCAD requires that all international students registered with F1 visas have adequate medical insurance. These students must participate in the SCAD International Health Insurance Plan, and the fees will be automatically added to the student account.

　　 recommendation

One to three letters of recommendation can be submitted by teachers, consultants or community leaders with whom the applicant has direct contact. It is suggested that the applicant's commitment, creativity, initiative, motivation, personality, academic achievements and other attributes should be involved to help assess the applicant's reasonable potential for success as a SCAD student. Advice should not come from friends or family members, except teachers and parents.

　　 Personal statement

The statement should not exceed 500 words in length, and should outline the applicant's academic and personal experience, explain the preparation and commitment for further learning in SCAD, as well as educational and professional goals and aspirations.

　　 Submit transcripts

All applicants must submit official documents on their educational level and achievements for consideration. Undergraduate students and transfer applicants must submit unofficial high school diploma or equivalent transcripts. Graduates must submit unofficial transcripts of their bachelor's degree or equivalent. The transcript can be sent to your admissions consultant.

　　 Submit supplementary materials

A proposal, a statement of goals, an elaborate collection of works, and a resume of achievements and awards are proposed to be considered as new applicants.

　　 Collection submission

SCAD accepts collections of works submitted through slderoom (online document management system) for review. In slides, you can upload still images, Word documents, and multimedia files.

All work must be original manufacturing and concept. If the submission is the result of a group project, the applicant must state its role. Any submitted work, if affected by another artist, such as reproductions or popular culture references, must be accompanied by appropriate quotations.

　　 Slideroom charges $10 for each submitted collection.

User experience design portfolio projects should include academic and/or professional projects that clearly state the purpose, scope of work, research methods and achievements. A strong collection of works will show confidence and experience in innovation, work with uncertainty and loosely defined problems, and show a high degree of creativity through discovery, re background and exploration. Therefore, the user experience design portfolio should emphasize the importance of image to show how candidates use sketches, plans or charts to define and think about problems in official documents or informal log records. In addition, project summaries, such as business plans, proposals, project briefs or presentations, will be considered as appropriate combination materials.

User experience design art students whose academic or professional background is in business or other fields can choose to submit GMAT or GRE scores instead of a collection of works. Students admitted according to the examination results will be assigned to postgraduate intensive courses during the enrollment review process. Students who wish to exempt themselves from assigned intensive courses can submit portfolio materials before registration so that they can consider giving up these courses.
