   ENTRANCE REQUIRMENTS:

As the most special major of RCA, GID students should not only meet the requirements of RCA general majors, but also meet some special application requirements of IC/Imperial College for GID majors when applying.

When it comes to the collection of works that everyone attaches most importance to, the first requirement is that the collection must be submitted through RCA's online application submission system. Secondly, RCA also gave some suggestions on the collection of works for GID students:

The above is what we should pay attention to in the application. Next, we come to the HOW TO APPLY section:

This part is almost all about the "key points" of the application. For example, the first part contains the following paragraph:

Students may have heard that the RCA application is rolling and has no deadline, but this does not mean that you can submit it at any time, because RCA also has its own requirements.

In the above two paragraphs on the official website, in addition to no deadline, there is also a key keyword "first home, first served basis". That is to say, if the number of students you applied for has basically reached the number of students the school hopes to reach in that year, RCA will close the application channel of that year, which means that your application in that year was rejected.

   Application deadline:

Then look down, RCA has given several key time nodes - Key Dates. Those who first applied for the 2019/20 academic year, the application opening date is September 17, 2018.

Then, RCA gave some tips that need special attention: Please note that your application includes both the application form and the portfolio; applications are not considered as complete until both are submitted and they should both be submitted on the same date.

In other words, the collection of works and various documents must be submitted on the same day.

At the following time points, the interview notice given, if applied before October 31, will be interviewed before December 7, 2018; Those who apply before January 31 will be interviewed before April 5, 2019; Apply before March 31, and will be interviewed before June 25, 2019.

When you submit your application, you must pay attention to your submission time and see what time period it is in order to prepare for the interview in advance.

Having seen several important time nodes, the following is the RCA application submission form, online submission. Click to enter the RCA online submission application system. You just need to register according to the form and submit.

In the last part, here comes the key point! The application process is officially guided by RCA.

   Apply Process

   Check whether you meet the application requirements

The specific application requirements can be viewed by clicking MA Entry Requirements in blue. Because the specific application requirements for different degrees are different, you can view your corresponding applied degrees here

   Check whether your language scores meet the requirements

In this part, you can refer to the previous part of the language performance requirements I have listed. Different degrees also have different requirements. It should also be noted that the time limit for language achievement is two years.

In addition, although RCA will offer some students whose language scores are slightly poor, but whose works are really excellent, this does not mean that your language can not be taken the exam. Until your language really meets the entrance requirements, the school will not allow you to enter.

   Select specific majors

RCA allows students to apply for two majors at the same time. For example, in the 2018 and 2019 application seasons of Natural Light, there are students who apply for two majors at the same time. However, if you choose to apply for two majors, you need to register with a different user name when you register, and you also need to submit two copies of your portfolio.

   Fill in the form and apply for registration

Personal and Contact Details/specific personal information, as well as the address and contact information that can contact you;

Previous Education Details and Previous Experience;

Disability or Learning Difference/learning differences and special applications (this is mainly for students with disabilities or with certain differences in learning);

A statement outgoing why you have chosen a particular course and what you propose to join from your studies/;

Application Fee

   Submit Portfolio

For the specific requirements of the collection, you can go to different majors to check by yourself according to the way I mentioned above.

   assessment

This part is actually the work of the RCA of the school. The admission office and relevant professional teachers of the school will review the materials and work collections you submitted. If you pass the review, it will go to the subsequent review process. But if you do not pass the review at this stage, it means that you are rejected.

   interview

Students who have passed the enrollment review will enter the interview process. As I said earlier, different majors will have different interview requirements, and different schools will have different interviews. Like GID and IDE, interviewers usually give students one hour or two hours to prepare an interview question in advance, and then the interview will be mainly based on your interview question.

   Result Letter

No matter whether you are accepted or not, you will finally receive a result notification letter from RCA. If you are accepted and decide to study at RCA, you need to pay a certain retention fee, which will offset the tuition of the same amount.
