Pre Master of Digital Media Design
Pre Master of Digital Media (MDM) is a two semester program designed to help students whose second language is English prepare for the master's program in digital media. The next opening will take place from September 2018 to April 2019.
Why do you want to take the pre master's degree in digital media design?
1. Develop English expression and improve IELTS scores. This course includes English language training, especially the ability to express English thinking and IELTS preparation skills, as well as two IELTS exams.
2. Learning methods and specific software for rapid prototyping; Development concept; Pitch, present and record; Pipeline development, integration and asset management; And interact with industry customers.
3. To better understand the application process for Canadian graduate programs. Students learn to formulate effective application strategies and complete the application for master's degree in digital media design.

MDM Pre Master Entrance Requirements
1. The applicant must have an IELTS score of 6.0, no less than 5.5 for each item, or 78 for TOEFL.
2. The applicant must have completed or have completed the last year of undergraduate study of the four-year bachelor's degree program acceptable to all four CDM cooperation institutions (four universities jointly opened) related to digital media. For example:
Computer science, engineering, education, management, economy, communication, art, design or performing arts, art history, architecture, linguistics, psychology or philosophy.
Note: If applying from other relevant disciplines, applicants must state the relationship between their previous degrees and the program, and how they benefit from the MDM program.
3. Digital Media Portfolio :
Five interactive digital works best demonstrate your skills. These projects can be one or more of the following: exhibited works of art, designs, films or videos, computer code (please include and record at least 100 lines of original code), engineering design or other reasons.
Use 250-500 words to summarize how the projects in the portfolio are related to each other and your advantages. If it is a team project, please clearly state your role in production.
4. Personal statement (no more than 750 words) This letter should clearly state:
Your motivation for choosing this degree program.
Your relevant skills, training and experience.
Your interest in the plan.
How to learn will contribute to your future intellectual and professional growth.
5. Short prose (no more than 750 words), topics related to digital media.
6. Summary table of computer skills and literacy.
7. Three letters of recommendation, each from qualified personnel.
8. Plan questionnaire.
9. Resume, including a comprehensive summary of your professional achievements (no more than 250 words).
