Paul Buckley, Paul Buckley, is responsible for supervising and guiding the cover design of the eight sub brands of Penguin Books. The iconic design style and unique art guidance are reflected on the covers of countless best-selling books, and he has been invited to give lectures in the United States and overseas for many times.
Paul Buckley is the senior vice president and creative director of Penguin Langdon. Under his leadership is a large team of talented designers and art directors, responsible for designing the covers and covers of 16 sub brands of Penguin Langdon Publishing Group. In the past two decades, his iconic design and unique artistic direction have been reflected on thousands of covers and jackets, winning numerous awards, and therefore he has been invited to give lectures frequently in the United States and overseas. In 2010, he edited Penguin 75 and made an introduction. In 2016, he edited and published The Classic Penguin: From Cover to Cover.
Paul's works have been recognized by Cooper Hewitt Museum and Smithsonian Design Museum; He won the first prize for image design from the London Design Museum. His work can be seen in many national and international publications. His art director has been awarded numerous gold and silver awards by the Illustrator Association. He has been invited to hold lectures and seminars at Milan International Institute of Illustration, American Institute of Graphic Design, Parsons Institute of Design in New York, and New York Institute of Visual Arts for many times. The participating students take the four propositions of The Little Prince, Walk in the Night, Pride and Prejudice, and Jane Eyre as the creative points, fully spread their imagination, and use any artistic expression medium and form you can think of to make a preliminary presentation of creativity in the A3 size picture (50-100 words design description is required).
