Select a work from a collection of works of art studying abroad, and create new works with this theme. (This is also the biggest difference between Parsons Challenge and RISD's independent proposition. RISD gives new themes, and students create according to them.)

Submit a 500 word essay to describe the development of creative ideas in creation. At the same time, you can submit up to two additional images to illustrate the creation process (enough to see the importance of Sketchbook!).

The creative form is optional, including painting, video, photography, sculpture, 3D works, collages, digital images, etc. Students must submit their works through SlideRoom.

Here, the intention of the college is to understand the students' development of creative ideas, express their own ideas in the form of vision, and explain their works in words.

1. Based on the creative ideas and achievements of the original project, we will further explore the creative potential of students, explore whether students can show more creativity on the completed project, and re-examine and think about the completed works from a new perspective. 2. Distinguish students' artistic sensitivity, observe whether the applicants have qualified perceptual visual cognition and abundant creative desire, and can find the possibility from some things that are "impossible" in the eyes of ordinary people, and constantly reflect, self drive, and evolve.

3. Examiners hope to see students adopt more diversified artistic design expressions in addition to the creative media used in the original project, and thus identify applicants' ability to control the language of artistic media, as well as their artistic talents in different artistic media languages.

Parsons' independent proposition is relatively broad and better developed. What needs to be noted is:

All independent propositions of BA and BFA are the same, except fashion management. The theme of this time is to select a piece of work in the work collection, and then create a new visual work inspired by the theme of this work.

It means that you can make a deeper extension of one of your works, and then create again. Your visual expression can be the same as the original one, or you can consider using a new one.

What should be paid attention to: First, if a proposition is put into a proposition from a collection of works, it is better to pay attention to the logical development.
