Mr. Pan, an art candidate in 2021, applied for a bachelor's degree in illustration at London University of the Arts. With the joint efforts of teachers studying abroad in Beijing Natural Light Art for 8 months, he completed the collection of professional works of illustration and passed the on-site interview of London University of the Arts. He successfully skipped the preparatory stage and went straight to the undergraduate level, and was offered an offer by Dream School for Camberwell undergraduate illustration design!
As a cool kid who has to do everything by himself, Pan flew to Beijing from Guangzhou for field investigation only one month after he persuaded his parents Art study institutions In the end, it was also cool to rely on the consultant's professionalism and kindness to unswervingly choose natural light, and signed a contract at the end of April 2016. We spent eight months of love and killing together with Yu Yang, completed the collection training in the middle of December, and successfully won the undergraduate offer in the on-site interview on January 10 and was greatly appreciated by the course leader.

Pan has a relatively good background as an art student, but her creative thinking and professional knowledge related to illustration are also limited to a certain extent. Her works before coming are basically basic realistic works such as realistic human landscape sketches. However, although the domestic art examination requirements are strict, they greatly limit her divergent thinking, which leads her to be afraid of making mistakes when doing works. The teacher told her by asking her to do a lot of exercises that making mistakes is not terrible, and a painting is always yesterday's work for an artist. A wrong drawing is nothing more than starting from scratch. Rapid progress through practice with a lot of time and energy is the only and inevitable result.
Therefore, in the first month of starting the portfolio project, Yu mainly focuses on new learning methods and discards the previous inherent concepts. In addition to discussing the first project, under the guidance of the teacher, Pan also spent a lot of time learning divergent thinking, doing research, doing sketchbook accumulation, etc. to guide her to have correct logical thinking to develop and improve an idea.
At the very beginning, Pan showed her relatively good learning and understanding ability. Her communication and learning with the teacher in class were quite smooth. But as the saying goes, everything is difficult at the beginning. Her initial lack of self-confidence and adaptability made her fall into a strange circle. Fortunately, the teacher "dug holes for her and let her jump" while constantly enlightening and encouraging her to go through this terrible time, Finally, he led Pan to get ahead, and successfully completed her first and largest project in three months and passed the score of IELTS Lunyi.
Later, under the guidance of the teacher WEI BI LI YOU, our smart student Pan kept this momentum and successfully completed the remaining five projects in the remaining four months. She had strong independent thinking ability and quickly determined her style and work development direction with the help of the teacher. Of course, in this process, the hardships of "tearing and redrawing" and "overthrowing and starting again" are still common. But this seemingly stepmother behavior still has some profound meaning. In addition to striving for excellence for Chong Lunyi's undergraduate degree, it also enables her to better adapt to the more rigorous environment of receiving contributions at school or even outside the school.
After class, she often discussed some profound issues with her teacher, and Yu took this opportunity to hope to teach her more things beyond the project. What she has accomplished in studying in Natural Light Art is not only a collection of illustration design works, but also a good school for her students. I hope that she will suffer less in the future because more talk about it can inspire her to develop in the future.
