College Profile

Jacob School of Music, Indiana University (Indiana University Jacobs School of Music), founded in 1910, is one of the top music schools in the world, with research institutes and university departments. Many majors of the college are ranked first in the United States, and the students have won many honors. The Academy is staffed by more than 170 well-known performers, singers, composers, scholars and professors; In addition, every year, many top musicians visit and offer master classes, lectures, or serve as art directors. The School of Music of Indiana University, affiliated to Indiana University (Bloomington), was initially formed in 1907 under the leadership and initiative of Charles Campbell. The enrollment covers almost all undergraduate and graduate music majors, including classical music, jazz, modern music and ballet. There are thirteen choirs, seven orchestras and eight other bands in the college.


The Conservatory of Music is located in the center of Indiana University campus, with more than 170 piano rooms, concert halls and concert halls. Our graduate school was founded by U S. New Online ranked No. 1. There are three undergraduate degree courses: vocal performance, B S. O.F. (voice and an outside field) and music education. All music undergraduate degrees require at least 120 credits. Some degrees may have higher credit requirements. Postgraduates need to complete 30 credits, excluding revision and ensemble courses. All master's degrees include core courses in professional fields and minor courses with 6 points. Individual degrees may have higher degree requirements.

2. Send the counselor recommendation signature form, transcript, SAT or ACT scores, and deposit certificate to the school before November 1.


3. Send at least one letter of recommendation before December 1.


4. Complete the audition or interview in the audition week arranged by the school. The following musical instruments and departments need interviews: piano, percussion, jazz percussion, violin, flute, classical guitar, saxophone, jazz saxophone, bel canto, jazz bel canto, composition (works collection required), recording art (works collection required)

The Music School of Indiana University enrolls students from all over the world only through prequalification of audio and video recordings and live performance. There will be additional TOEFL requirements for admission of international students. Undergraduate Bachelor of Music (B.M.) and graduate Master of Arts (M.A.) degrees, Master of Music (M.M.) degrees are more than 87 points, doctoral Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees, and Doctor of Music (D.M.) degrees are more than 100 points.
