Eastman Conservatory of Music and Manhattan School of Music Okay?

The teachers of both schools are very good, but the overall level of piano students is stronger and more difficult to pass the exam. Eastman TOEFL requires 83 undergraduate students and 89 graduate students. But both are good choices, mainly depending on which teacher you like and which scholarship you give more. Julia Conservatory of Music and NEC are also very good schools. If you have strength, you can try them. But it may be more difficult than Eastman and Manhattan.

This major requires taking a musical instrument or vocal music course in the department studio and participating in student ensemble.

Jazz Studies and Contemporary Media

This major is designed for students who want to take jazz performance or writing as a career. JCM provides performance skills courses for trumpet, saxophone, trombone, piano, guitar, bass and percussion. Applicants for writing direction must participate in the selection interview for one of the above instruments. Eastman jazz does not include vocal jazz.

music education

Music education majors provide students with more in-depth learning opportunities to become expressive leaders. Students can choose to major in general education, vocal music or musical instruments. This major provides various opportunities for performing in school, and the employment rate has reached nearly 100% in recent years. More than two thirds of students in this major have chosen to double major in applied music or jazz research.
