Because the official data of Cambridge University depends on whether students or teachers are members of the college. In addition, each university has a different definition of the principle of calculating this number. For example, some universities do not count those who arrived at the relevant universities after winning the prize, while some universities still count them; Some do not count the staff who have taught in the school for less than one year, but others still regard them as the winners who are associated with the school. Therefore, the information given by different websites (including the official website of the university) will be different.

Cambridge University is located in the town of Jianqiao, 50 miles north of London. Cambridge itself is an English town with about 100000 residents. The town has a river passing through it, which is called "River Cam". Jianhe River is a small river that runs from north to south and zigzags. The scenery on both sides of Jianhe River is beautiful and the grass is green. Many bridges with exquisite design and beautiful appearance are erected on the river. Among them, Mathematic Bridge, Gray Bridge and Sigh Bridge are the most famous, hence the name of Cambridge. Cambridge University itself does not have a designated campus, no walls, and no school cards. Most of the colleges, research institutes, libraries and laboratories are located on both sides of the Jianhe River in Jianqiao Town and at different locations in the town.

Cambridge University is one of the members of several academic alliances, as well as a part of the "Golden Triangle" and the Cambridge University Medical Partnership Alliance, and is closely related to the development of silicon marsh, an industrial cluster.
