De Montfort University (De Montfort University, DMU for short), located in Leicester, East Midland, England, is a high-quality and innovative comprehensive university. Its predecessor was the Leicester School of Art, which was founded in 1870, and later developed into Leicester Colleges of Art and Technology, Leicester Polytechnic, and finally became the University of De Montfort.
