The Institute of Industrial Design of Georgia Institute of Technology now offers two graduate courses in industrial design, Master of Industrial Design (MID) and Master of Science in Human Computer Interaction, with expertise in industrial design. The Master of Human Computer Interaction is jointly provided by four independent colleges: interactive computing, literature, media and communication (LMC); Psychology and industrial design. In a broad sense, this study seeks to find a perfect relationship between people and computers. HCI goes beyond computing and screen interfaces to predict new situations that computers can help achieve.
