The Communications Design(ComD)major at Pratt is the only program in the country that recognizes and embodies the convergence and integration of Illustration, Advertising,and Graphic Design as the primary forces for the visual expression of ideas.In ComD we teach our students how to craft the strongest and most impactful communications possible by being creative problem solvers and elegant image-makers.
Preet College of Art ComD is the only major in the United States that recognizes and reflects the integration and integration of illustration, advertising and graphic design, as the main force of visual expression of concepts. Whether it's text, images, strategies, movements and sounds on pages, walls, televisions, laptops or mobile phones, they are all tools you need to transmit information on all platforms. Our students will give their works to designers and art directors, who will hire them when they graduate and get more opportunities to participate in diversified online internships. Students determine their own path through more than 40 elective courses, which represent the courses of creating content, business, entrepreneurial projects, information design, social media, and design thinking. Whether within the company structure or starting their own practice, they have acquired the skills needed to achieve their vision.
