During the epidemic, students protested during online classes and called "Zhenxiang" one after another?

During the epidemic, at the beginning of global online classes, students from all over the world launched a campaign to boycott online classes, from social media appeals to joint letters, and finally even asked for a refund to boycott "online classes", a teaching method that made them unfamiliar. But when we looked at the online humble scene of colleges and universities, the principal apologized and comforted the students; Develop professional online courses to help students transition from offline teaching to online learning; We promise to explore new online education methods to ensure the quality of teaching.

In contrast, Waiguo students seem to have become emotionally naive babies in love. Their IQ drops to three years old in a flash. No matter how the colleges explain and pacify them, when they hear the three words of online classes, "I don't listen to me, I don't care if I don't attend!!" However, the rule of "Zhenxiang" is universal all over the world. In the last two weeks, there was a lot of protests on Twitter and Facebook, such as "I don't listen to me, I don't care if I don't go on!!!"? Students began to share interesting stories in online classes.

The students seem to have found the latest way to open online classes, that is, to "cloud" the professor's pet in front of the screen, while at ordinary times in school, the fearsome and serious professor seems to have put down his airs and become particularly cute in front of the pet.

After smoking the teacher's pet, everyone began to catch up with the students. Some classes ended, and finally became the scene of everyone's pet exchange! The students, through online classes, found that the professor who usually does not talk and laugh at school, and the students who do not have any intersection, unexpectedly have such a friendly side at home.

Some students even said frankly that they felt that online classes had narrowed the distance between themselves and their teachers and classmates. Usually, offline classes are held in the classroom. Everyone is shy and often does their own thing. Unless necessary in the classroom, they seldom communicate with their classmates and teachers. When teaching online at home, everyone seems to be very cheerful because of the relaxed environment. It seems that it is much easier to say things you dare not say to your face, make jokes you dare not make, and take online classes as a medium. Even if everyone is staring at the sky and sleepy in the morning, it seems more interesting than usual.

Looking at the students' resistance to online classes from the beginning, to the real fragrance and even fun later, is online portfolio training really an unforgivable principle problem on the "love road" between us and the college? The answer must be no, in the face of the online teaching that has to be carried out at home and abroad due to the impact of the epidemic, in fact, in addition to resistance, we can have more options.

How do you feel about online classes during the epidemic?

On the issue of online classes, both colleges and universities and we as educational institutions, like our classmates, are also victims of "COVID-19". The current teaching mode from offline to online is really a helpless move. If we can choose, we believe that the colleges and universities will not want to face this situation than the students.

Raheleh, an American pure art sculpture professor of Iranian origin, recently publicly stated that, in fact, compared with other disciplines, art disciplines seem to be easier to adapt to online teaching. Raheleh said that the reason why students can't adapt to online classes is that they are in a peaceful zone. When he was young, he often had to interrupt his studies because of the war. But for Raheleh's student days, "learning to learn" is much more important than the way of teaching.

At the moment, the global epidemic is breaking out, and students who have gone abroad or are preparing for their works in China are facing the challenge of online classes. The natural light also often heard former students cry. When they went abroad, language was a big problem. Now when they come to online classes, they are more likely to lose their minds. They feel very anxious.

The natural light is also very worried about the students when seeing this situation. But as Raheleh said, compared with other disciplines, art teaching is easier to adapt to the online teaching mode.

Different from the need to understand and read a lot in humanities, and also different from science and engineering, the purpose of art teachers' teaching is more to guide students to draw inferences from other cases.

After teaching basic skills such as painting and software, the identity of a teacher is often more like a "helper" than a "teacher". The basic purpose of art teachers is to help students generate, improve and complete their own ideas and creativity.

Under such a premise, the online teaching mode basically does not affect the communication between teachers and students. Even because of the timeliness of the network, many students reported that "famous professors" who could not wait in school at ordinary times are now forced to answer questions online for 7x24 hours, and their work feedback and modification time is much faster than usual.

This is also the biggest feeling that the students of natural light gave us after they really experienced online classes. Compared with the time spent on offline classes, waiting for each other, and interviewing, online classes are more convenient and efficient to communicate with teachers.

And many of these students were not forced to carry out online class learning because of the impact of the epidemic, but actively chose the online class teaching mode because of the time and geographical distance from teachers.

Finally, it seems that even so, it is still difficult for overseas students to really adapt to the dual challenges of language+online classes. For these students, Natural Light carefully reviewed the online course guides of overseas universities and gave the following suggestions.

Suggestions for online classes during the epidemic:

First, we must take the opportunity of online classes to communicate with our classmates online. The classmates here are not limited to Chinese students. On the contrary, natural light suggests that we should "lead on the Internet and cherish this relationship" with foreign students. By asking homework, discussing our feelings after class, exchanging pets, learning cooking skills and other opportunities, whether it is to practice speaking and listening, or to consolidate the gains in class, it is an excellent choice!

And! Waiguo students are not as cold as we imagined, and even most of them are extremely interesting! Especially during the epidemic period, you must be free at home and panic. At this time, the effect will be doubled if you open the chat mode!

Second, in the face of language problems, you can choose to record the screen or the recording, and resume after class. In fact, it is not just online classes. Almost all students who have just gone abroad will face the problem of language proficiency. Even if we have made complete language preparation at home, it will still take some time to adapt to the real human communication and bullet speed when we go abroad. At this time, recording/screen recording becomes a "primitive but useful" method to help students overcome language difficulties!

Seeing this, do the students in China worry about "what should we do with language when we go abroad in the future?".

If we can say that this time, we invited professors from famous overseas universities to everyone, and we also added a professional Chinese Portfolio training Tutor, can you help students solve problems perfectly by following the whole process of teaching?

In the coming April, natural light will also bring students a more vigorous "International Education Resources Open Month", where two teachers gather for classes, six major departments of professional courses, overseas professors take you to cloud exhibitions, super famous teachers online skill gas stations and other rich "hard core dry goods". On average, two online activities a day will enrich students' home "cloud art" life!
