Project Background

The investigation site of this project is located in Chongli. Chongli is under the jurisdiction of Zhangjiakou City, which is located in the northwest of Hebei Province and 220 kilometers away from Beijing. Chongli is famous for its skiing industry. Started in 1996, it has unique geographical and climatic advantages. Due to the Winter Olympics, Chongli ski resort and its surrounding supporting industries have developed rapidly in recent years, and the number of skiers in winter has increased sharply. At the beginning of this year, due to the epidemic, Chongli ski resort was forced to close in the winter with the largest passenger flow, resulting in huge losses.

Most of them were idle for several months in summer and were not well developed and utilized. In recent years, the ski resort has also been actively developing summer tourism and vacation projects. However, due to inadequate publicity and other issues, few people went to Chongli in summer. The launch of this summer music festival has led to a sharp increase in traffic flow in a short period of time, resulting in extreme congestion.

In this project, we can try to think about how to use the natural advantages of mountains, forests, climate and other natural facilities to build a leisure place suitable for summer vacation in the non snow season that lasts for more than half a year;

At the same time, the development of ski trails and some summer activities, such as mountain biking, will have a greater impact on the natural vegetation and biological community. We can start from multiple perspectives and consider combining various factors to create a leisure resort suitable for human beings, increase the income of the ski resort in summer, and at the same time, better maintain the balance of environmental ecology, Get along well with local animals and plants to realize the sustainable development of the site.
