The fees for the students of Master of Music, Doctor of Music and Arts, Diploma of Performing Arts or Diploma of Artists are as follows. Please note that the tuition of the Boston Conservatory of Music is much lower than the full-time tuition of Boston University, which is an affirmation of the support of the Boston Conservatory of Music for the Academy of Fine Arts.
Boston Conservatory of Music Tuition:
2019-2020 Tuition (full-time students *): $23700
2019-2020 application music fee * * (two hours a week, two semesters with teachers): $3700
2019-2020 Tuition (part-time students *): most courses are $1710/credits, while night music and art education courses are $855/credits
2019-2020 Continuing study fee (doctoral students who have completed course assignments): $1710/semester
*Full time student status requires students to register 7.0-11.5 credits each semester. If students are studying after class, they must continue to study. Students with less than 7.0 credits per semester will be considered as part-time students. Please note that part-time status must be approved by the consultant on a case by case basis, and students who are downgraded to part-time status may not be eligible for grants, such as scholarships or loans. International students are usually required to maintain full-time status.
**Students with excellent performance must register for the application course that they take with the course. Students in the fields of composition, chorus or orchestra conductor, music education, music theory or musicology will not be assessed for the applied music cost unless they choose to take an application course.
The unified full-time tuition of Opera House Academy in the academic year 2019-2020 is $29000. Students of Opera House Academy can receive full scholarship and separate living allowance, but they are still responsible for medical insurance and university expenses described in the "Expenses" section below.
Boston Conservatory of Music Fees
All on Boston Conservatory of Music Full time students on campus will pay the following fees in 2019-2020:
Student service fee: 344 dollars per year
Health expenses: $438/year
Community service/program fee: $25/year (assessed in the fall semester)

Student health insurance
New students will automatically join the BU Basic Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP), and their student accounts will be charged. The basic SHIP fee for 2019-2020 is $2466. Students can increase the enrollment of their BU Student Plus SHIP to help cover their spouse or dependants (the cost in 2019-2020 is US $3297)
The tuition fees of RCM Royal Conservatory of Music are not outdated for one year
