Washington University in St. Louis graduate architecture is the ninth architecture major in American architecture. The focus of Washington University in St. Louis master of architecture course is the role of architects in society and culture. The school has a strong history of practice oriented education, which has expanded to include the depth of sustainability and housing issues. Let's take a look at the requirements for graduate architecture application at Washington University in St. Louis.

   Postgraduate courses

The foundation of graduate courses is the sequence of architectural design studios. Each semester, students choose projects and topics from a series of vertical studio options provided by different design instructors. These studios emphasize the development of strong conceptual capabilities, deliberate integration of technical information, and convincing expression of architectural ideas in two-dimensional and three-dimensional forms through various media. The ultimate goal is for each student to develop clear design principles, powerful technical resources, and an independent, key position in building in the world. The independence of students' ability is proved and tested through the degree project in the last semester.

To promote and enrich the studio experience of the March program to students, including architectural history and theory, architectural technology and structural principles, urban design, professional practice, landscape design, and representative and digital media research courses. The ability of students to integrate information from these courses into appropriate architectural forms in the design studio is highly emphasized. Although these topics have always been part of the postgraduate curriculum, their specific content, order and teaching methods are constantly being reviewed and developed.
