Many students come to consult Studying abroad in photography I always ask a question: how to judge a Collection of Photography Studied Abroad Good or bad. To tell the truth, photography has no standard to measure good or bad, just like a thousand viewers have a thousand Hamlets in their hearts. But okay Photography Collection for Studying Abroad They all have a common feature, that is, they can really express pictures and emotions. For example, in news photography, photographers need to learn how to capture news shots and use several shots to capture and show the climax of the whole event; Another example is art photography. The photographer needs to show the abstract picture in his mind with the lens, so that the audience can understand what he wants to express.

Today's natural light Art study abroad To introduce a relatively unpopular direction in photography -- architectural photography

   Architectural Photography

In short, architectural photography is a thematic photography of architecture, which takes architecture as the shooting object and uses photography language to express architecture. There are certain requirements in terms of shooting topics, equipment selection, composition and lighting, and capturing moments. After all, a building is a three-dimensional object. It is very difficult to use two-dimensional photos to show it without losing the characteristics of the original design. Therefore, to become a qualified architectural photographer, you need to master some knowledge of architectural structure and composition in addition to certain basic skills in photography. well Collection of Architectural Photography It can not only show the beauty of the building itself, but also serve as learning materials for students to further understand the structure and materials of the building.

Collection of Photography Studied Abroad-- Perspective distortion

The most common problem in architectural photography is distortion.

Architects or painters usually use the principle of one point, two points or three points perspective to draw architectural perspective drawings, while photography is different from the perspective principle of painting because it needs to show the perspective relationship of three-dimensional space through cameras. Only when the camera is horizontal, the buildings photographed will remain vertical and have the effect of "one point, two points perspective". So when the building is too high or too large, in order to put all the buildings into the lens, the buildings photographed will be distorted. The most common way to avoid distortion is to keep the camera level as far as possible, increase the height of the shooting point, and configure corresponding photographic equipment.

The following natural light art students recommend three architectural photographers and their works for everyone to enjoy:

(Warning in multiple pictures below)

  Michael Wolf

An architectural photographer who I like very much when I study in Natural Light Art. He was born in Germany, grew up in the United States, graduated from the United Kingdom, and worked in China, Japan and other Asian countries all year round. Wolf's characteristic is that he doesn't like to take photos of high-rise buildings, shopping malls, hotels and other buildings. He likes to take photos of people's lives.

Natural Light Art was moved by his group called "Architecture of density" when he studied abroad. This group of works was shot in Hong Kong, showing how Hong Kong people live in crowded buildings. The content of the work is simple, but it is very visually shocking.

  Matthias Heiderich

Another German photographer, mainly shooting architectural colors and forms, is very artistic. Matthias' works are rigorous in composition, exquisite in picture and well mastered in details.

  Gabriele Croppi

Photographer of Italian black and white architecture, with famous buildings as the background and lonely little people in twos and threes, very Cherico style.
